Man.. Ive been searching for this fly for a few years. Got a couple from a fisherman on the water in olive and caught alot of nice fish on them. Thank you for sharing!
I like the translucency and shine of antron. I'm also not really worried about how well it floats. But, if you are concerned about floatability, polypro or CDC would be better choices.
Thank you Ed. I saw his name mentioned in a couple of places with this pattern but was unable to find anything definite. So, Brett, thanks so much for a great pattern.
www.palominoinnovations.com/ What is the Palomino/Palominnow style of tying? The Palomino style of tying incorporates a variety of materials to create extended-body flies, be they midges, caddises, or baitfish imitations. I will be the first to tell you that I did not invent the extended-body fly, as they have been around long before I was even born. What I have done over my career is use a combination of natural and synthetic fly tying materials, along with some materials that are not even considered fly tying materials, in unexpected ways to create unique and effective flies.

Love ultra chenille. It can make so many awesome patterns!
Great midge pattern , been using it since I first saw Dale Darling tied it :)
Nice tie Tim. Thank you
👌🍻 good video tim
Great video👍🏻
Good video! Why you use antron? Is polypropylen better, or help the chenille to float enough? Greetings from Heidelberg (Germany)
