Crazy Japanese freaks :) The sound quality is so unreal, it's better then 99% of studio albums that I have listened to.
Excellent mix, however i do miss a bit of room mic sound, its very direct for a live mix.

The bass is too damn low :(

I just realized that the second guitarist is Zytecki. both are guitar heroes of this decade.
Zytecki's guitar tone is unbelievably good.
notice how quiet the crowd is, something rare to find in America during any concert. Truly listening as to truly enjoy.

Normally, Paper Moon would have been my favorite, but...
I have to give these guys a shoutout for their rendition of Selenium Forest. Just... wow, I'm at a loss for words, let me just say this much: I had a huge smile all over my face while listening to it, this is by far the best live version of a song I've ever listened to, better than the studio version imo.
Needless to say, huge props to Plini, Jakub, Troy and Simon, you guys killed it!

I must have watched this video at least 30 times, and the colossal drum solo at the end of Selenium still makes my heart race. Seeing these virtuosi play in person is right up there in my all time favourite live music experiences.
All of Plini's songs are great...but Paper Moon still blows me away every time. Its so masterfully crafted its beautiful. Every note of every instrument with purpose

These guys are on the next level from all the bands that have come before. No false sentimental lyrics, just full on guitar skills with gut busting power. Fucking love it.
They really are something else. I never heard of them before today. Somehow Jakub Zytecki came up in my feed. After I watched that video (JZ live in Cracow) the algorithm fed me this one. I just now realized that Jakub is the other guitarist. Curious, though- it has definite rock influence, but is not rock-n-roll, which really requires singing to be called that. I've heard it called prog, post-rock and math-rock but I'm not sure those terms do it justice or really describe it. At times they remind me of Rush (without singin'), in the cinematic and bombastic scope of their music. Bands like Yes and Rush had non-sentimental lyrics, but few bands are like that. Maybe a few songs a year (worldwide) are written that are saying something in a novel, original way. Mostly it's a rehash of Oh baby I need you so much please come back I am so sad, honky-tonk badonkadonk, how ya like me now? That's why I can't write songs anymore. I used to think I had something I wanted to express. I guess I did before, but I don't any longer. At least not that belongs in a song.

I missed Plini live but this is definitely the next best thing. Plini's music is so refreshing and uplifting.

i gotta say i think Jakub is my favorite of Plini's 2nd guitarists so far. Jake Howesam Lowe and Aaron Marshall are both stellar players but i think Jakub suits him the best.
littleredguitars2 I agree. I think Jakub's bluesy style fits Plini's jazzy style very well. Aaron is an amazing player but slow jams aren't as much his thing and Plini does a fair amount of slow jazz jams. Also Aaron is much more of a pure rock n' roll player. Djent/Prog is all of these guys common ground, but they all have other influences to their sound and Jakub's and Plini's fit very well together.
Here's hoping for a Plini DispersE tour and more collaborations between these two amazing artists.

If given the chance to have a single wish granted to me by a magic genie in which no request was limited. Literally anything I wanted could become reality... I would ask this same concert be played again but instead have Rick Graham as the accompanying guitarist.
