I'm a regular viewer of this channel and also a regular Marsh listener, so when he published that set it was a very pleasant surprise for me! What a brilliant idea, and as you say hopefully drives some interest for the railway from those who previously wouldn't have known about it; they certainly did an excellent job showing the beautiful landscape with those drone shots!

Always good to see that, even as GM and CME, you still get to play trains 😊

It's great to see Ted's old loco back in steam Shame she was not repainted in quarry livery she was delivered as ordered fro bagnsls which is Buckingham green with red lining but then that's her new owners privaledge still great to see her again I have been in contact with her since early days of the clr sadly no longer there I hope she gives her new. Owners as much pleasure as she gave Ted and his crew of followers at cadby over the years

Cracking idea, that DJ. I've been saying for years that a DJ train or party train would do really well.

Nice to see Pixie fully restored. I have strong connections with Cadeby and Teddy Boston. I have driven Pixie at Cadeby!

Nice try at a gravity run but too many empty wagons. Full of slate they would have run all the way across the Cob.

Amazing seeing Pixie out on the open road. I have very fond memories of Teddy Boston driving her at what felt like breakneck speed through the holly bushes at Cadeby, with much squealing around the tight curves!

Good to see 'The Fat Cleryman's' Pixie back in the land of the living and being a really useful engine! Delightful little loco and a fitting memorial to the late Rev. Boston.
Are there any plans for something a bit more permanent for the junction at Pen-y-Mount? It's been many moons since the WHR reopened and the whole spanner and clip bolt thing looks now as much territorial scent marking as safety related!!

I don't think James Spooner even tried to fight back.

beautiful footage of Pixie running under her own power. I am guessing that this was the first time she's been fired up since 2006?

Pixie has never traveled so far before!! What gauge is it now, at Cadeby I think it was the full 2’ gauge, has it been slimmed down to 1-11 1/2??

Unless on some particularly fussy trackwork, I would think a loco of that size would manage well enough without regauging. Might wear the flanges a bit.
