Loved it , already up to speed with this , but I like to watch these videos to see if I can learn new things 👍🇭🇲❤️ I am so pleased to see an American gun without the leather frizzen cover & flash gaurd ( solutions for non existent problem )
I have been getting into smoothbore flintlocks lately. I have a blunderbuss and am looking to add a Musket and pistol. It's been a lot of fun, and I am getting better ignition.
I used to want to do a flintlock channel on here but this guy does it so well there’s no point.
Nonsense, create away! We need more flintlock knowledge preserved and shared!
Excellent video! Thanks!
Great job...glad you are covering this for those who are new to black powder. Especially liked that you did it in a wooded location! Take care!

Thank you for this video! 👍
When cleaning/ wiping down your lock, watch your fingers around that flint. It's super sharp and will slice you like a razor !
Another great informative video!!!

How do you know if your lock is designed to hold the flint flat side up or flat side down? (8:45)
Quick question how do I know what patching to use for my flintlock? Like what thickness I have a 45 cal hawken
What size of ball are you using?
@@FlintlockOperator right now I’m using a .44 ball
"promo sm"
I run a damped rag tight to a string down with the bore with the rammer then put it out .
That's what I do! You shooting a smoothbore or rifle?
@@FlintlockOperator both I can just rap it around my off hand and keep on keeping on or tuck it in my belt
