I received my Boost fin and set setting at 80% continuous, with other at 100% for 10 seconds. Did a test in pool with 80% - continuous and it lasted for 30 mins. My goal was to use the Boost on my SUP out in the surf to help get out past the break and to help catch wave. I am thinking, this should be able to stay in water for about an 1hr surf session. Have not tried in waves / ocean yet. Also, I was NOT able to get Boost to stop running if the remote went to far away. I was under the impression if the remote was not close enough the Boost would stop, this is NOT the case. Hope this helps. .
I used my fin for the 1st time (9/8/2023) on my SUP (Sunova 9’4”) in the Florida East coast. Waves were 2 to 3 feet, no big deal and easy waves. I was on a wave and the wave kicked my board over, the board went over with breaking off the Boost Fin. Lost in the ocean. I was not able to retrieve the fin. This is a weak point and see this occurring a lot. Others will have the same issue in wave action. This point of connection to the board needs to be changed to aluminum as this is a high stress area. Boost will sell me another one with a leash at over $400 w/shipping. .
Thanks, email say, mine is on its way soon, hope it works as advertise, will use on SUP in ocean. located in Florida waves. See how long it last and performs. My main goal is to get out from beach through white water, and help with catching waves. Thanks again.
I received fin, broke on 1st use, I was hoping for more of a Push out of fin. I do not think this will get me through the wash/break as we have to go through that here in Florida. Hope this helps - @@benbucklerboards
Not advisable to use it without the plug, you want to do everything you can to prevent salt corrosion over time. You can still use the plug even if the rubber connector has snapped. Some people have also reported that a silicon ear plug can work to plug the charging port, too. Either way make sure to wash the port out with fresh water after each use.
GET OUT! That looks like a fraud. I had bought 2 Boost Fins 1 year ago or more and HAD NOT RECEIVED ! .....Take care with frauds! I do not recommend Boost Fin
Hey Marcos! Where are you based? The Boost Fin is real and works well. We're still despatching to Australian customers, there were thousands of orders to get through.

the wave was only about 2' , the wave were small and no big deal. the board rolled over with the fin snapping off at the bottom where its attached to the adapter. I would like to know how many others are reporting the same issue. .

Thanks, so you held the fin in the pool for 30min? It’s not intended to run continuously.

Nice! Well you’re in luck, that’s exactly what the fin does

Excellent video, can’t wait to try it! Thank you!
Cool! Glad I could help
Can you use the boost fin without the rubber plug at the back? The instant I pulled it out to insert the power cord the rubber plug broke off.

Just received my fin, thanks, great instructional video. Has anyone got experience with the fin on a Wave Master wave ski??
Thanks Paul! Check out the Facebook group facebook.com/groups/boostsurfingfinowners
Is it possible to install 2 in one long board?
Sure is, and you can sync them to the same remote
❤❤❤
Hi, does the remote switch off?
The remote is only active when you press a button. It can switch off the fin too
Has you tried it as 2 and 1 setup on a longboard?
Not yet, but that's definitely something we will be experimenting with in the future!

It doesn’t turn on. This magnet method is unreliable. This is a terrible waste of money. You boys really screwed us over.
Sounds like you may need assistance with your fin so please send it back and we can help.

Oh ok, sounds like a heavy wave. What snapped? I know some adapters early on were 3D printed instead of pressure moulded like they are now.
