@CthulhuMessiah It's actually a recreation used in the upgrade patch for the DOS version. The Ultima IV tracks I've uploaded are recreations used in xu4, an Ultima IV engine recreation. The Ultima V tracks, when I get a chance to upload them, will be similar to these Ultima III tracks in that they will be from the upgrade patch for the DOS version.

What system was this? Atari 800 or Commodore 64? I would guess Atari 800, as it had a much better sound system.
huh? nothing at the time had a better sound chip than C64. at least that's what I've been told repeatedly.
@eightbitgnosis I don't know why they changed the actual music for the NES version. It was terrible.
I still have nightmares of the NES combat music.
