How are you liking it so far? I got a mini skid a couple months ago and just picked up a mini ex yesterday. Excited to put it to work!

@@CoulterStoneMasonry This is the best investment i ever made There are just a few drawbacks but i can’t beat it. It digs way better than i thought it would. Just take you time with it and be careful if you have any hills.I will have other videos up soon 🙂

I feel like these have more lifting power than weight. A counter weight modification for the back end might be a good idea. I've considered it myself.

Me too. I just have to get the urge to do it and i would say about 200 pounds would be about right.

Has anyone found a way to stop them from being so bouncy

@@thomasmaverick8458 Not really. only thing you can do is slow engine speed and move controls slower.

Could you add hydraulic flow control fittings between the pump and cylinders? Slows the flow of fluid, but doesn’t affect pressure

I have one just like it. They are dangerous and had he picked up the stump and rotated to left or right the mini-x would be on its side. Needs counterweights but they wont save you from going over if you lose the center of gravity. they are quite powerful but are too light to counter forces generated from pushing against a non moving stump or other obstacle. On level ground you can correct but on a slope you are living large.

A hydraulic thum helps alot. You could use the front blade to help pick up to move easier.
