I have a love hate feel for the execution scene for one reason; no one ever shows that the ONLY reason Naofumi "spared" them is because Queen Mirellia intended to kill herself after they died. She probably would've declared and then crowned Melty as the new queen before doing so but that's just a guess. Also, Mirellia seems to be the only person of authority that Naofumi likes as a person and shows genuine respect to or even listens to for that matter (aside from Melty but that's a different matter for obvious reasons). Anyway, minor rant and observations aside this was an awesome Rising of the Shield Hero reaction. Definitely a favorite
