Some great tips in here man, Love the vids esp love the tip about learning to "box" starting out as a king player cant always nail the throws so gotta switch it up and throw some hands
I think one other tip for king players is to learn his oki. He has some amazing oki after many of his throws and enders that beginner players may not realize.

Thank you for this! King is my favorite character, but I’ve always been just okay with him. One big obstacle is i was never able to do the >>> air throw finish consistently. I’ll probably be getting T7 or T8 after a long hiatus and will be thinking of this list!

I just wanna say, devil jin has a psuedo giant swing, and you can seem to buffer it from anything like an actual giant swing, thought its interesting to note...unless im wrong but it seems to work
Regarding to the last part, that was one mistake I got when im starting to play Tekken 7 with King. I was too fond of using isw as the combo finisher but didnt know the wall combo to ground throw deals ton of damage. I know its a 50/50 but hey, you can still go and fight

I'm not majin, but TT is generally better than tombstone. Not saying tombstone is bad but if your mixing GS, TT and muscle buster that's about all the throw game you need, not including chain throws

I was a solid ( after green rank ) player on PS4 , but I took a year off ( no personal console/pc ) and I'm back on Xbox series X , and I literally suck , and I don't know whatta hell is going on . I'm a defensive player , no throws, combos focuses , and I'm getting desperate 😢😢
Hi, just trying out tekken 7. I've also started playing King and I notice that everytime I clicked 1 to 4 button it applies only kicks and hand chops but it doesnt apply punching jab? Im so confuse. Can someone help? ^^
I picked King at random select in December to be my first Tekken character. Question, is there a strat/point to doing FF 2 holding back to cancel into gs?
He's the best tank on the game so far. I've personally never liked any iteration of Blanka, so I'm good on having him on my squad. Zangief or Hugo aren't as good, but they'll do.

if u never played T7, the finisher is actually quite forgiving there. i can't do it at all in the older games lol

Never, ever use the sticks on a controller lmao. He uses dpad, but it's really just practice.

I use them sparingly because they're hard reads.

Giant swing and regular throws are also good anti air throws good for jumpers
