It's gonna be fun watching your channel grow. I think with the projects you work on and the humor you inject in each video, the number of subscribers is going to blow up!! Good for you and good luck.
Great video! I enjoy the humor in your videos! It’s always nice to see people be lighthearted and not so uptight or acting fake. Oh and using your glue bottle for the layout seems to have worked out great. I use anything that works. I took a scrap piece of bendable plywood I had left over from a build and cut an 1 1/2” strip about 16” long and drilled a hole in both ends. I tied a piece of old shoe lace to one hole then ran the tag end through the hole at the opposite end. As I pull the cord tighter it creates an arc that I can trace. It’s been a big help at times!
The shot of the elbow confused me until I realized it was an integral part of the tool used to manipulate the board on the band saw. All jokes aside, I subscribed to your channel just for the trick of using the level as a straightedge. I needed that trick two days ago.
Nice video ! Thanks for sharing, I didn't know about the jointing trick you used with the level. question: Can soft woods be used to build cutting boards or should I stick to a nice hard wood?
That’s actually a great way to Joint a board with no jointer. Soft wood tends to hold more moisture and juices in the cuts and scratches that helps bacteria.
Hilarious! I love how you're so self deprecating, using just really basic woodworking tools. No jointer. Only one glue up. Making your circle with a glue bottle. And then... I just pop it into my CNC laser! LOL! Yeah, I'll make a ton of those!

Thanks. I learned that on TH-cam. 😂
Great work! Love the "plywood notepad". What's that box holding up your cutting board at the end of the video? 😎
BTW. That box is finished. I need to etch a logo and then you can have it.
Great idea. What kind of laser etcher is it? I might need to get one of those.
Thanks. Ortur Lasermaster Pro2. I like mine.
