Bartender ASMR is one of my favorites, I adore all the sounds like the lid unscrewing and the glass clinking, and then you’re just so chill, the atmosphere is *chef’s kiss* 😁
Delightful and mellow drinks as always. As a fellow "on the fence about Maraschino liqueur", there's a (Croatian?) brand out there called Maraska. Hits all the right notes without being so obnoxious - has really made a whole class of drinks that much more enjoyable.
this is my first expsure to your channel and I really enjoyed it. You obviously know your way around a bar, which lends the video authenticity but it's your warm, easy-going energy that really sells it. Good mic placement, not too hot, no bad echoes or bad ambient sound. Well done.
During time lapses/edits when you fade out, it looks like a ghost bartender just disappearing, lol. Now I demand an ASMR roleplay of Lloyd the bartender from The Shining 😂
love bartender videos and your cooking vids too! just a tip: you're not supposed to actually "stir" with the mixing spoon, you twirl it around your fingertips to "spin" the drink (or usually just the ice). ideally, you chill the glass by spinning ice in the glass and drain the excess water just before serving to avoid dilution :)
Love your stuff - you have my favorite male ASMR voice right now, and your approach is great. One tech note (as a former audio engineer): it sounds like you have the auto gain on your mic, which in this video likely lead to the abrupt drops in the background ambience. Turn off your autogain and you will keep the background room tone from fluxuating, which can be distracting to the listener. Or, if you really need the autogain for some reason, record about 30 seconds of ambient room tone in the same exact setup as you recorded in, and tou can loop and layer that consistent tone under the dialogue to minimize those dips. Thanks for the work regardless!
Thanks for the feedback. It's not auto gain, I ran into some audio issues with this one and had to knock some stuff down in the edit. This isn't the only vid where I've run into that though. Room tone is a good call, I should try that.
