A fantastic (and busy!) day with you. Absolutely loved collaborating. I will have my own video soon on tbe guideways of Leeds going in depth about its history, the vehicles used and why they exist.
3:11 that's really a smart design! I wouldn't know that is a USB charging port unless there's a sticker with a downward pointing arrow that says so, or I see a LED light indicator on.
Sadly, the First Leeds Volvo B5LHs are currently getting phased out (just 2 left in service in Leeds at the time of this comment). Ex-Manchester Volvo B9TLs cascaded from Oldham and York have replaced these.
@glitchFan2428 aye but these hybrids are now 13 years old. Most companies are now switching away from hybrids because of issues and age. New electric buses are now the way forward especially here in Leeds with new GB Kite Electroliners (single decks) and StreetDeck Electroliners hitting roads.
I think it's for fare evasion purposes as you cannot enter the bus without being heckled by the driver for non-fare payment, the single door also allows for more seats on the lower deck on board or a larger wheelchair space area than with a dual-door setup, although Dual-Door buses is a requirement on all vehicles longer than 8.9m that operate on their bus services in London excl. the X26 service. Dual-door buses have however been purchased in small numbers in recent years by the Go-Ahead Group for its non-London operations such as in Brighton & Hove...
@@wclifton968gameplaystutorials fair enough! Yes I remember Brighton and Hove had 2 door citaro bendies that have recently been taken out of service. I saw a preserved one on the Manchester to Stockport rail replacements recently
@@glitchFan2428 They also purchased a fleet of "Regional-Spec" Dual-door Wright Streetdecks with the "Stealth" bodywork to replace their fleet of Scania OmniDekka's that were built ~2006 by the now defunct E.L.C. (Now a part of Optare)
I would have thought this was filmed in singapore if not for the title lol! Also I just want to ask if any city in the uk still operates bendy buses like the citaro g? Good vid 👌 👍
Which bus in Leeds do you feel is the most similar to Singapore?
the bus is short but in Hong Kong have B8L B9TL E500MMC
Yutong E12
also, why is it called B5LH hahaha in singapore it's the hybrid one

Likewise! I'll be looking out for that video 👍🏻👍🏻
I can't describe how I feel when I watch this video except to say that it was fab! Thanks so much for sharing your way of seeing the world with us!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Maxon, I remember you from the preserved Scania Bendy from March 2022. I have watched a few of your videos and they are great!
Wow that feels like such a long time ago! Glad you enjoyed the videos 😁

Ya same! I definitely didn't notice it before Jake pointed it out
Some buses are very similar to Volvo B8Ls and all that, pretty cool!
On 8:10, the pole on that DD bus model is the same color as the SBST-spec B9TL WEG2s.
You know I didn't notice the poles being the same colour when the video was being filmed 😅
Because First Travel's colour scheme is purple also
Thats some good Singaporean vibes. Nice vid
9:09 nice transition.
Great video really enjoyed it Nice to see Jake to
Thank you! Yeah he's literally the best tour guide I could ask for
You guys! 😄😄
For the yutong e10 they don’t have the front left seat and yutong e12 does have left front seat (my favourite seat)
When I was a kid, I always wanted to be a bus 🚌 driver, nice video on Leeds buses 🚍
Thanks! Driving a bus is actually quite fun although I've only done it as a hobby and not actually as a job
-Missed joke for "half Wright" instead of half right lol-
You’re the second “Geoff” for barse and train

It's so strange thinking of B5LHs being retired from service, they are still new buses to me 😅

@glitchFan2428 can visit to Tower Transit UK one day to see difference from UK and Singapore
I have actually done some videos of tower transit London in the past. For now I can visit go ahead as they are a lot closer to me!
cool buses! would be interesting to see 2 axle DDs in sg 😮
As if they didn't exist in Singapore years ago 😒
About 10 years ago on public service, private bus still have I believe
@@glitchFan2428 Yah the tour bus is also 2 axle what
@@psgistheworstclubineurope oh ya forgot about the big bus boiis
Any reason that UK buses only have 1 door? Especially for double deckers?
I've heard it's for safety reasons although I'm not 100% sure

wow i hope to go uk one day..
As a bus enthusiast I think you'll like it
The Wrightbus Gemini 3 bodywork is common in Hong Kong
Yep

Thanks! Yeah it does look super similar doesn't it hahaha.. the citaro G is still in service in York for their park & ride system
So Is Rare To Find A Single Deck I Guess😢
Glitchfan2428 you forgot the citaro they even have those Edit: Also they have citaro bendy
There's no citaro or citaro bendy in Leeds. The closest would probably be York with their citaro bendies on park & ride.
Oh
Pls find Volvo B8L MCV EvoSeti
There's one here at 4:27

You should do honk Kong
he went to hong kong before
Wow
Video idea: ride the Emirates Air Line
Mmmm that's in London, quite far away for me😅 but I might consider it if I'm in the area!
Hello I watched the live
Thanks for tuning in
UK vibes x some of SG buses kind 😁🤡
Maxson! Someone stole your ‘New NEL train’ video, his name is “glitchfuture888” I know he is copying you
I dont think it matters because their channel name doesnt even show up when u search it so no one knows they exist
@@psgistheworstclubineurope but isn’t it like frustrating that someone steals your video without credit
