I have to check, but i know for sure you can still complete iron missions you already have, you may not be able to add new ones. you can also do the codex at the same time.
I done all Iron challenges on Shinkiba, Argonauts and Kerberos, Kerberos were great for Globals got 11 one evening on a 100 ped run, biggest was well over 300 ped, maid drop in that was a sword, but that was a long time ago now not sure what it was called.
If I can't kill it Naked, I don't kill it. If I can Swunt it Naked, I love it more than life. And if my 2 Bukin's Blades can't kill it before I die, I see no need to mess with it.
Haven't checked that yet, I do still have like all iron missions in journal, and I am still completing those next to my codex. so that is double 3128/5000 Atrax now - finding myself surrounded by 10+ Atrax regularly, but good for Evade and Brvado skilling :D

A bit late, but it seems you mixed up snarksnot and snablesnot somewhat. First you said snablesnot, and later mentioned different male and female, then said snablesnot and impact damage. Snarks do impact, and do not differentiate male or female. Snables do acid damage and do have males/females, females have more hp. You had up the snarksnot wiki page so I'm sure that's what you were wanting to recommend, just got some snable info mixed in there.

Planet Calypso Forum has a lot of mob locations in the Creature subsection. It looks like it gets updated often enough.
