I think you undervalue card filtering like the hawk. Late hand it’s basically a draw a card. Early helps you get lands. Like how you don’t care for that one drop vampire that made blood , or that scry prototype flyer in BRO. Just something I noticed, obviously you still do great though
My main problem with the one drop vampire that made blood (Voldaren Epicure) was not the blood token part, but the fact that I found the 1/1 to be pretty useless. I really liked the 5 mana 4/4 in that set (Falkenrath Celebrants) that came with 2 blood tokens. I think it would be safer to say that there are certain cards I'm not a fan of rather than that I undervalue card filtering as a whole.
@@NicolaiBolas I get that it’s the 1/1 that isn’t great but basically the main reason it is good is because of the blood token. Early game it’s a 1/1, late game it’s cycling with a 1/1 attached.
@@reidyo5404 I just disagree with that assessment. Even early game a 1/1 is pretty weak. Lategame it isn't cycling with a 1/1 attached because you still need to have another card in hand to discard to it.
@@NicolaiBolas it’s pretty easy to hold on to that 7th land when you know you have draw discard effects. Look at mutt in BRO. Its two for a 2/1. It’s one of the top commons. Or the dog from kamigawa that actually draws a card but it’s still a 1/1. Anyway like I said your obviously doing good with the way you do things, just was putting in my two cents
