This was and is my mother, Tayibor Dzenawo of Atiavi. When will we set these records straight by separating Atiavi Dzenawo's songs from those of Akpalu (from Anyako). On record, or in one of the sings of Akpalu, he did acknowledge that he had had to be sort of empowered from Dzenawo's (Ameshie's) house in Atiavi to take off properly in his venture. So why do we not project Akpalu's beautiful works separately and that of Dzenawo's also separately? I am proud of the two, but let us correct this. We must begin to tell our children the truth about these things. I made similar comments recently,but it is still going on. I hope somebody is taking action on this
