I would like to make a request: that you inform us at the beginning of the video, the final size of the mandala so that we can have an idea in advance of how it will turn out. Here where I live, I have difficulty finding hoops in large sizes and many times I don't make the mandala because I don't know if I will later find the hoop in the right size for it. I apologize for any mistakes in the writing. I speak Portuguese and used the translator to write. I need to make a mandala with 8 points to put on an umbrella. Hello and thank you for your kind words! All info about the project can be found in Details section as well as the final size of the mandala. But thing is that we all crochet differently. Crochet hook size, yarn, mood, loose or tight crochet - all this can affect the final size on the project. That's why I would recommend to block mandala before buying a hoop. At this point you will know for sure if it fits or not. I have never tried to make an umbrella from my mandalas so I can't recommend any of them at the moment. Hope you will find the one you like!
Thank you for you kind words. I can't make video tutorial for Asteria mandala as this is not my pattern and at the moment there are some tutorials for her on TH-cam.
Materials required: * 100 - 110gr of 4ply (2 Fine), 100% cotton yarn or 50% cotton / 50% acrylic yarn * 1.75mm hook * 45cm/18″ hoop But if your crochet is loose or you will change the hook for a bigger one - final size of this mandala will be bigger.
