He carried more 7-pins than anyone. Great champion. This was his 27th title, but just a few months ago, the PBA recognized his 2 ABC Master's titles, so his final total is 29. 2nd best Lefty ever in my book. (Earl Anthony being first)
two lefties going at it, as an entry-level lefty who is starting to "get it" I picked up on a lot of new things to try. for one thing, watching Aulby and the way he holds the ball at the start is totally different than the way i start out, so i think tonight at league, i might experiment a bit in the practice frames. i can see my avg going up already! woohoo!
@wingnutters You won't learn much about how to bowl from watching Jason Couch. Personally, he's a friendly guy, but if you want to learn do so from the best, like Mike Aulby, and Earl Anthony. They both use a heavy roll and accuracy with lower speed rather than equipment bowlers with extreme revolutions at a general area in hopes of sloppy carry. Ear Anthony Teaches Bowling is here on TH-cam. Check it out and you'll be amazed at the difference in perspective!

Aulby won THREE Masters titles - 1989, 1995, 1998. He should have 30 titles.

I believe Mike like the late Earl Anthony utilized medium speed. In some instances that can be advantageous.
