I got VERY close yesterday. The key to winning is put as many points into cool down reduction as you can. You also need to get the right legendary gear with unlocked bonus stats. Very RNG for the bonus though. I got +cooldown and +XP on 2 items. If I had gotten +idle ore on some gear early, I would have had more legendary gear. If you have high enough cool down, take the knight character who grants a shield based on your HP. For purple evolved characters, go for the 2 linked to the same knight and the helicopter. The problem though is too much RNG for gear and door bonuses.
