El caso es que en el Crossover entre SNK VS CAPCOM, muchos fans pedían su pelea con Akuma en la cuál el ganaba y absorbía todo su poder, convirtiéndose en *"God Rugal"* si esto lo hubieran dejado Cómo una pequeña parte de la historia de KOF hubiera hecho las cosas aún más interesantes.
Ahora si otro gran episodio desde la pelea de Terry vs Geese, y Rugal esta mostrando el SNK boss syndrome en su maxima expresion jeje, el siguiente capitulo se ve genial

I mean, to use the hero team of the 3 main SNK games... but once again, this penchant in making the Kyokugen look like pathetic clowns is something the producers of these series like to keep going. Anyways, I take Mature now is taking that Orochi orb somewhere else... her mission as Hakkesshu might be still on. And hope that marks the return of Vice soon.
you people need to get over your obsession with ryo in the king of fighters series kyo is supposed to be the main protagonist with a big role, how terry plays into that could be due to popularity especially having game sequels after fatal fury 3 than the art of fighting series (real bout fatal fury - special and dominated mind, real bout fatal fury 2: the newcomers, fatal fury wild ambition and garou mark of the wolves). ryo doesn't have a main character role after art of fighting 3 so you can't expect him to be doing much even in this anime.
It's funny you mention popularity, considering Ryo appeared as a guest or hidden character in several games besides AoF: Fatal Fury Special, Fatal Fury Wild Ambition and Buriki One (both as Mr.Karate 2). Not sure if you're not aware of it, but KOF wouldn't be KOF without the AoF series.The same respect the gave to Terry and add his Fatal Fury arc to the story, wouldn't have been bad to do a more decent AoF arc as well, and not that watered down side story of King (which wasn't bad,but we expected better). It's just to put the balance of the three fighting series that build SNK inits gloryin the 90's (ifyou don't count Samurai Spirits, that is)
The fight against Rugal has begun and I love that Terry is fighting side by side with Kyo in this one. Since Mature is betraying Rugal, stealing the Orochi power, my guess is that Rugal will seem invincible at the begining but as the fight goes on his power, beeing artificial, will fade away. At this point he will try to release all the Orochi power (Omega Rugal) which will consume him! Rugal ... you are a fool! :D
I don't think mature betrayed him he made a deal with goenitz mature mentions him which in turn means he made a deal with orochi also unlike the original rugal actually has orochi blood so he is more like yagami now
GnosisZX Rugal was searching for the Orochi power when Goenitz found him. Goenitz took Rugal s eye out but allowed him to take same of the Orochi power. He also told Rugal that he should use it only as a last resort since it will probably kill him. Same time after Goenitz sent Mature and Vice to keep an eye on Rugal. Here Rugal made a deal to deliver the energy gathered to Goenitz witch he does not intend to keep. Mature on the other hand will always be loyal to Goenitz, not Rugal.
Ionutz Fulger actually mature and vice hated goenitz the betrayed him and sided with Yagami thinking he would be better for orochi goals but as vengeance goenitz activated Ioris riot of blood and Iori killed mature and vice Also this version is heavily changed rugal has orochi blood rather than a bit of energy for one
GnosisZX that happened in KOF 96, until then Mature and Vice were terrified of Goenitz and would not dare to cross him. It is more like Goenitz read their minds regarding the fact that they wanted to side with Iori, especially when they see Goenitz defeated. They changed a series of things in Destiny so that the Orochi power is more present in the plot. It did not turn out that bad if we think about it.
*RUGAL!* He is the only fighting game boss that has made me go "oh crap" when I've fought. True story, I was playing KOF98 at an arcade and made it all the way to the final boss. I had no idea who it was but when I saw it was Rugal I actually yelled that out. I'll never forget that and so to this day Rugal Bernstein holds a special amount of respect from me for being bad-ass.

you people need to get over your obsession with ryo in the king of fighters series kyo is supposed to be the main protagonist with a big role, how terry plays into that could be due to popularity especially having game sequels after fatal fury 3 than the art of fighting series (real bout fatal fury - special and dominated mind, real bout fatal fury 2: the newcomers, fatal fury wild ambition and garou mark of the wolves). ryo doesn't have a main character role after art of fighting 3 so you can't expect him to be doing much even in this anime.

It's funny you mention popularity, considering Ryo appeared as a guest or hidden character in several games besides AoF: Fatal Fury Special, Fatal Fury Wild Ambition and Buriki One (both as Mr.Karate 2). Not sure if you're not aware of it, but KOF wouldn't be KOF without the AoF series.The same respect the gave to Terry and add his Fatal Fury arc to the story, wouldn't have been bad to do a more decent AoF arc as well, and not that watered down side story of King (which wasn't bad,but we expected better).
It's just to put the balance of the three fighting series that build SNK inits gloryin the 90's (ifyou don't count Samurai Spirits, that is)
So Mature is leaving with the Orochi power, which explains why Rugal loses this fight. Looking forward to the next episode.

The fight against Rugal has begun and I love that Terry is fighting side by side with Kyo in this one.
Since Mature is betraying Rugal, stealing the Orochi power, my guess is that Rugal will seem invincible at the begining but as the fight goes on his power, beeing artificial, will fade away. At this point he will try to release all the Orochi power (Omega Rugal) which will consume him!

I don't think mature betrayed him he made a deal with goenitz mature mentions him which in turn means he made a deal with orochi also unlike the original rugal actually has orochi blood so he is more like yagami now
GnosisZX Rugal was searching for the Orochi power when Goenitz found him. Goenitz took Rugal s eye out but allowed him to take same of the Orochi power. He also told Rugal that he should use it only as a last resort since it will probably kill him. Same time after Goenitz sent Mature and Vice to keep an eye on Rugal. Here Rugal made a deal to deliver the energy gathered to Goenitz witch he does not intend to keep. Mature on the other hand will always be loyal to Goenitz, not Rugal.
Ionutz Fulger actually mature and vice hated goenitz the betrayed him and sided with Yagami thinking he would be better for orochi goals but as vengeance goenitz activated Ioris riot of blood and Iori killed mature and vice
Also this version is heavily changed rugal has orochi blood rather than a bit of energy for one
GnosisZX that happened in KOF 96, until then Mature and Vice were terrified of Goenitz and would not dare to cross him. It is more like Goenitz read their minds regarding the fact that they wanted to side with Iori, especially when they see Goenitz defeated. They changed a series of things in Destiny so that the Orochi power is more present in the plot. It did not turn out that bad if we think about it.

*RUGAL!* He is the only fighting game boss that has made me go "oh crap" when I've fought. True story, I was playing KOF98 at an arcade and made it all the way to the final boss. I had no idea who it was but when I saw it was Rugal I actually yelled that out. I'll never forget that and so to this day Rugal Bernstein holds a special amount of respect from me for being bad-ass.
