MSC Divina is the ship that made us fall in love with cruising!! Since our first cruise in 2021 we have sailed with MSC seven more times and have three MSC cruises currently booked. We can’t wait to return to Divina in December! Love that “little” ship!
I booked a three night cruise on the seashore to see if my wife can handle cruising bc she gets carsick. Hopefully, we do well so we can go on longer cruises
I have really bad motion sickness and the scopolamine patch behind the ear makes a huge difference for me. Cruising in a hurricane… no problem now. I even use for long car rides
We just got off an 8 day cruise on MSC Seashore Sunday. Seasickness was one of my concerns. Our travel agent recommended booking cabin in the middle of the ship. We had a balcony room on the 12th floor and felt little motion. I also wore a seasick patch every day. Hope all goes well for you. We had a wonderful time. Already looking forward to planning on our next cruise.
Love MSC! Floating disco balls that take you to the turtle if you love to snorkel. Nephew got me on SEashore while he was playing bass on board. Cruise no 7 this sunday. Cant wait. Like all except seascape was kind of dirty. Divina older but still a grande damn, Meraviglia amazing promenade inside, Seashore modern amenities abound. Thank you for sharing.
World Europa does try to give you ocean views with the super open aft (no blocking as on Icon) and many of the speciality restaurants have outside seating. The adults pools also have nice aft views and Aurea hot tubs to the sides. A lot more open views than RC.
Oh my goodness… how awesome to have your first MSC adventure be a Yacht Club experience! You will absolutely be spoiled (in a great way😊) We’re headed to Seashote later this month and will have a few comprehensive videos from onboard soon! 🥳 Have a great vacation next November!
Apparently not a huge change or at least what can be seen. They did expand the outdoor seating for YC and put a shade trellis over it. Probably doubles the size. Rocks could not be removed from YC beach due to it disturbing the preserve. We will update when we hear more 😊
Suggestion. Driving? Stop in West Palm then take the Brightline train to Miami. It goes into downtown. ( 1 hour) They will take you to ship. Its 10 minutes and when you park in West Palm is 5 dollars a day.
Yes… that has been our plan twice now but if you don’t book far enough out.., BL is crazy expensive and I can be a last minute planner sometimes. I think we will try that for sure next time we are headed to Miami! 😊
@@Taste-Try-Travel it will change the way you handle Miami. By the time you figure parking in Mia . It kinda evens out and is worth it. (Clean, quiet, and they serve cocktails) Also it is a good option from FLL. To heck with MIA traffic.
The Ben & David debacle spook ya some? Less obtrusive is the way to go! Lead the way you kids! andddddd... then I watched more.. and you answered it! lol... Keep on keeping on!
GoPro is an excellent underwater camera… and very easy to use. Good colors and steady. DJI Osmo 4 is another very good choice. We choose to use our iPhones (which we already have on us) with an underwater case simply because we try to minimize what we bring on trips with us… the tech list can quickly get out of hand if we let it. 🤪😊🤪
Seaside was our first time with MSC and we absolutely love that ship. We just got off seashore about 2 hours ago and have to say we didn't love her. Seaside is a far superior ship. We went Aurea class this time and I'll also say it is not worth the extra coin. The staff at the spa were very snooty, made us feel unwelcome and like we were bothering them. We went fantastica on seaside and imo it was a far better experience. I'm so disappointed they moved seaside to Miami, I've heard that port is a nightmare to get in and out of, plus we live 25 minutes from Canaveral so there is that too. Looking forward to the Grandiose coming. Have y'all ever gone on NCL? Have a trip in March with them and hoping they have softer beds, the beds on MSC are very firm and not comfortable to me, my hubby sleeps like a rock on them 😅
We have done NCL quite a few times (although, most of those were before we started our channel). Couldn’t say whether their beds are softer… beds seem to change from ship to ship (and even room to room inside a ship). Excited for Grandiosa too… really hope it lives up to all our other MSC cruises!😊
I was eager to see what all Chris' enthusiasm at the start was going to bring out. Then he used a clown horn? I about died laughing, hope the coffee I spit out comes out of my shirt. 😂 Mega cities at sea = 👎

Those Divina itineraries they have planned include some of our favorite ports!😊🤩😊
Just started watching you guys. Really enjoy your dynamic.
Thank you! We love doing these!

That’s awesome! Hope you had a great cruise!!!!😊
MSC Divina is our first love. Sailed on her when MSC first entered the North American market back in 2013.
Glad she’s headed back… 😊

Yay… happy to hear that! Thank you! 😊 May have to spend the entire cruise in the Aurea hot tubs!😎
Oh, you got Aurea ❤
@annefridh4817 We don’t have Aurea… yet. 🤪😜🤪
I booked my husband’s and mine cruise in the MSC Seashore yesterday, for November 2025. Yacht Club. This will be our first time cruising MSC

Why are you using obsolete microphones from the 1970s?
If it ain’t obsolete, it ain’t feelin’ da heat!😊
@@Taste-Try-Travel OK. Ya got me. LOL
Been on the Divina twice and love that ship, was our first MSC cruise. Excited to hear that MSC will be offering southern Caribbean cruises!!😊
We’d love to get on a 10 day Southern (or even a Panama Canal) cruise with MSC… maybe they’ll read this and add a Canal itinerary soon! 😊
I’ve been looking all week for videos of the island updates

Always trying to get better, smaller, and more efficient… (so we can concentrate more on food)! 🤪😊🤪
I'm excited step onto the World America in April! It seems so large for me.
Us too! We were on Wonder of the Seas last year and guessing that’s comparable. Big… huge… massive… humongous… pick your adjective. 🤪😊🤪
Agree with Chris on large ships. Allure and Seascape my two biggest. Seascape was about as big as I would want.
Any recommendations on waterproof cameras for the beach and snorkeling? I was thinking of go pro. Thanks.

MSC Virtuosa will be home porting in Barbados (Caribbean) beginning in November 2024

Divina is ok but I won't bother going on it again. I wish they would use the Seaside for the longer trips.
We wish Seaside did longer too… but now that we’ve done a back to back on MSC, we have no hesitation to do another one! 😊

The horn wasn’t quite the “timpani drum roll/crashing cymbals” fanfare Chris was hoping for. ☺️😳😊
Ive been on all MSC ships multiple times. Love all of their ships. except Divina.. They really should decommission this floating old dumpster.
Hmmm, we may rethink our “Put Taste Try Travel On Divina” bumper sticker idea! 🤪😊🤨
