Actually I think isos orb will still be there, in a convo with plat chat the dev said that iso will still have those shootable orbs, so even more oppressive.
That Iso buff was very similar to one I suggested ages ago. Being able to activate a Shield pre-contact is REALLY strong, and makes it trivial to contest Operator firelanes at Round start. The fact he needs 2 kills to get another Shield is a hard tradeoff though, but ultimately its still a substantial buff.
I like this buff, he can shield before entry and refill that shield with a kill orb, additionally, getting two kills recharges his shield ability; so if your shield runs out, you can just pop the ability to get a free shield which is pretty useful for a 1v1 clutch situation in giving you a chance at winning.
That reyna buff is going to be absolutely insane, the fact that her ult and overheal doesn't have a timer is just nuts. And also, i really like how they changed iso, now he actually has more advantage when taking those early round duels. For example when peeking an op, now he can activate the shield first and counter the op like how he's supposed to do in the first place. So far, these changes are really solid, and im glad that riot is going on the right direction.

In that case getting another kill can grant you the charge needed for 1 sec animation to go in again. tldr: 3 ways to get shield now. 1 free, 2nd assist or kill with Orb shooting, 3rd if you get 2 kills and charge for doing animation of 1 sec.
Dude the Reyna did not get buffed over heal matters a lot. The ult buff is so mid you would use ult when you’re pushing or getting pushed anyways like that’s not as good as you think. The heal nerf was so insanely bad for Reyna

In vct I see neons pick rate increase that’s all, but raze is going to be the most used duelist. At close range, anything is fair gamer, but at distance, this is a huge buff. If their whiff their first shots, you'll basically have 2 chances to fire at them while they reset.

I see so much of a difference in the neon wall and stuns, the slide and sprint is also noticeably different and I cant wait to learn how to fully utilize the new movement buffs
the raze nerf just forces raze players to focus on horizontal velocity instead of vertical as if you even have a tiny bit more vertical velocity, the total distance traveled gets reduced by a noticeable margin, however, horizontal based satchels in order to get high ground for e.g. to catch the enemies off guard for 2 picks before dying and whatnot will still be used just not as often. Albeit the nerf was unneeded, it just forces raze players to use their satchels more decisively.

reyna got buffed significantly especially when she's in her ult because the dismiss speed got buffed heavily, plus empress lasts the whole round so you don't have to worry about immediately taking a duel
I don't even know how significant these changes will be but they're insanely cool. I love me a Reyna nerf, won't be nearly as frustrating to play against her anymore. Iso is a brand new character, excellent as a first contact agent, but he still can't really entry without his ult. Neon looks busted as hell, only having 1 stun isn't that bad when it's significantly stronger and the slide accuracy is crazy. Anyone getting caught by any util will get absolutely mauled by this new slide mechanic. I think Raze will still be fine since her ult and nade are are strong but definitely a needed nerf. Edit: forgot about Clove. She'll be fine guys, Omen was always better anyway.

That Neon E buff is so huge.. fast switch, no fire error and 3 times faster regen. They buff Reyna's repositioning. They make ISO available for kids. for Raze..... deserved.
I hope the Iso bubbles stay with the new E, it was unique albeit somewhat annoying to need to kill someone first before getting a shield, the new E fixes that but I don't know if they would remove the Iso bubbles tho

I'm so happy for the Reyna nerf because when I happen to play her, I basically never use her ult since it lasts so short and I'm not sure I'm getting a kill with it soon. The pressure of getting a kill was too much
Nerfing Raze sachel like this puts the 3 movement duelists on par with each other in terms of entry potential but still keeping the big stop sign that is Cyphers trips Now all of them are vulnerable, not just Neon by a large margin

@@Skelettett You realize that sage's ult has different conditions to be met? Obviously there are tradeoffs to Clove ult as well. You are reviving only yourself, you miss out on all the utility and brain power a whole other person can bring to the table. Clove's ult does not have absolute dominance over sage, it is just more threatening and forgiving in the most important scenarios. 1) A self res that requires no teammate to be alive post plant is immense pressure applied. Sage cannot do this. 2) Because clove's ult is meant to be used after death, if she is 1 point off and dies, she gets that 1 point and can use it in the same round itself. This is a huge bonus as no other agent can do this. If they die, they must wait till next round. People will have to keep this in mind when playing against Clove. 3) Clove's ult is dynamic unlike Sage's. She can reposition and has a tiny amount of time to do so. Even the smallest of movements can be the difference. Sage's revive is a death sentence if they are not guarded. 4) Sage needs to be located near a body physically, you are potentially risking 2 people dying from your team here as compared to the single death from Clove. As for the other person, I do see the downsides. And you can have your opinion if you find Sage's ult more powerful, but I am not biased. I am simply going off my own analysis, feel free to give additional arguments on why it is inferior to Sage ult and I will be happy to learn.
The Raze "nerfs" are not really gonna be very bad tbh. The reason is because she still has a perfectly good entry tool in those blast packs along with still having the post plant stall and yeah the movement is nerfed but 90 percent of site entey satchels still work. The flashy montage plays are gonna be dialed down a lot but she is still gonna be the best and most overpowered duelist just with a tiny bit more competition in the form of neon
Im really happy with the iso shield change. Though im sad theres only 1 charge. Iso cant do much with his sheild when he fights weapons like spectre, vandal or phantom. It was really only good for snipers or shotguns. So the sheild can actually help considering you will most likely enconter snipers or shotguns first

as a raze main this is rly gna hurt me at least i started learning more agents, but man the velocity decrease is super apparent, just that satchel heaven it was so good to go to u hall and make some fast plays if attacker walls of site
Pick me up duration was already super short, making it even shorter and cost more is just wild. I agree with the ult increase tho and clove is still gonna be good.
Clove Cost Increase from 100 to 200 is really important, now they can't buy the Ghost + Smoke + Pick me Up, I Think this is a huge nerf solely by this one, kinda like the Viper one, where the 200 to 300 in the poison made u couldn't buy the Poison + Smoke + Light Shield.
I like playing iso but I feel like having the shield only once and having to kill not one person but two to have the shield again is going to make me play it less...

Neon - buff 2 slides wall duration 6s > 4s Relay bolt 2 > 1 time till full fuel regen 60s > 20s 2nd slide costs 150 Neon now removes all weapon movement error when sliding etc. Iso - buff When he uses the shield ability he starts with a shield but they will hear it when he uses it so like a chamber ult Double tap 2 > 1 Kill reset added to double tap thats all i know etc. Reyna - BUFFED - NERFED Ult has no more timer meaning her ult will only stop when she dies Devour (Q) 100hp > 50hp healing time now reduced from 2s > 1.5s thats all i know for reyna Raze - NERFED So her satchel wont explode when the enemy shoots it her movement will be slower her satchels will be more louder Clove - NERFED Pick me up ability will now be from 100 creds > 200 creds duration was 10 secs > 8 secs Her ult now needs 8 orbs instead of 7 and unequip delay was 0.7s > 0.8s I think thats all Share the word cus it took me 10 hours 😭 😭 😭
I feel like Iso not having to shoot the bubble to get his shield takes a bit of the fun away of playing him. I get that he's supposed to be stronger now, but the aimlabs element of it was more engaging.
honestly, for everyone that doesnt play raze, its kind of a balanced nerf. Raze can still come flying into backsite, and still seems like a nightmare to play against, but shes only limited to that. This matches what they said, that raze players are rewarded too much for being able to satchel into site with no util or support. To everyone that doesn't play raze, her satchels still work. But the satisfaction of going so far is gone.
Im kinda surprised Gekko also didnt receive some kind of nerf to Thrash whether that being increasing the amount of orbs, or making it so that he cant gain orbs towards it until hes used it twice. Like take Phoenix ult for example, he cant get orbs back from it until his ult is dead. Gekko can get like 5 ults a half if theyre a good Gekko.
Its actually funny. They release the agents without considering the long time implications, then out of nowhere a Meta will agent will be nerfed to oblivion in order to facilitate playing another agent that was less played/useless before.

you tested neon wrong. first of all neon wall is way longer than smth like phoenix wall so you gonna have to shoot it across the range in order to actually feel the effect of the wall dropping down from behind. otherwise it looks like there is almost no difference. second of all maybe its just me but neon sprint part you weren't rlly using the strafes all that much. people need to remember that its only the strafes that were buffed in order to match the forward movement. that said you also could've been using the strafes in conjunction with the forward movement so maybe you felt like you were flying cuz of that.
don't you guys think that the clove's nade is kinda bugged ? for example if it's thrown on just a slightly lower surface than u , nd there's a minimum blocking object , it's actually not gonna decay , should be fixed no ?

Iso can still shoot orbs so basically every kill still grants him a shield... the two kills requirement is only for refreshing a SELF-CASTED SHIELD

At close range, anything is fair gamer, but at distance, this is a huge buff. If their whiff their first shots, you'll basically have 2 chances to fire at them while they reset.

I see so much of a difference in the neon wall and stuns, the slide and sprint is also noticeably different and I cant wait to learn how to fully utilize the new movement buffs

the raze nerf just forces raze players to focus on horizontal velocity instead of vertical as if you even have a tiny bit more vertical velocity, the total distance traveled gets reduced by a noticeable margin, however, horizontal based satchels in order to get high ground for e.g. to catch the enemies off guard for 2 picks before dying and whatnot will still be used just not as often. Albeit the nerf was unneeded, it just forces raze players to use their satchels more decisively.
You can't get satchel higher dude. The best part about Raze was you could get elevation. Even for your ult high elevation matters.

Using Iso double tap with one charge only gonna feel cruel for me because if they are not even in the right site or place when I use it, the timer will expire and I'll have to kill 2 to able to recast it again. The thing I wonder is the orb when you kill someone will be present or not

reyna got buffed significantly especially when she's in her ult because the dismiss speed got buffed heavily, plus empress lasts the whole round so you don't have to worry about immediately taking a duel
I don't even know how significant these changes will be but they're insanely cool. I love me a Reyna nerf, won't be nearly as frustrating to play against her anymore. Iso is a brand new character, excellent as a first contact agent, but he still can't really entry without his ult. Neon looks busted as hell, only having 1 stun isn't that bad when it's significantly stronger and the slide accuracy is crazy. Anyone getting caught by any util will get absolutely mauled by this new slide mechanic. I think Raze will still be fine since her ult and nade are are strong but definitely a needed nerf.
Edit: forgot about Clove. She'll be fine guys, Omen was always better anyway.

Honestly the best thing out of this update is Iso's E and Ult buff since he's now a better first contact duelist with that shield he can provide himself i would love to see the wall buff where he can press it again to make it stop like Harbour's hightide def make him more viable in proplay and ranked for locking down sites,entry and cover planter

@@Skelettett You realize that sage's ult has different conditions to be met? Obviously there are tradeoffs to Clove ult as well. You are reviving only yourself, you miss out on all the utility and brain power a whole other person can bring to the table. Clove's ult does not have absolute dominance over sage, it is just more threatening and forgiving in the most important scenarios.
1) A self res that requires no teammate to be alive post plant is immense pressure applied. Sage cannot do this.
2) Because clove's ult is meant to be used after death, if she is 1 point off and dies, she gets that 1 point and can use it in the same round itself. This is a huge bonus as no other agent can do this. If they die, they must wait till next round. People will have to keep this in mind when playing against Clove.
3) Clove's ult is dynamic unlike Sage's. She can reposition and has a tiny amount of time to do so. Even the smallest of movements can be the difference. Sage's revive is a death sentence if they are not guarded.
4) Sage needs to be located near a body physically, you are potentially risking 2 people dying from your team here as compared to the single death from Clove.
As for the other person, I do see the downsides. And you can have your opinion if you find Sage's ult more powerful, but I am not biased. I am simply going off my own analysis, feel free to give additional arguments on why it is inferior to Sage ult and I will be happy to learn.
Raze nerf was so uncalled for mainly because it fuvks with your timing and your goto double satchel spots which is not easy to master at all
The Raze "nerfs" are not really gonna be very bad tbh. The reason is because she still has a perfectly good entry tool in those blast packs along with still having the post plant stall and yeah the movement is nerfed but 90 percent of site entey satchels still work. The flashy montage plays are gonna be dialed down a lot but she is still gonna be the best and most overpowered duelist just with a tiny bit more competition in the form of neon
Im really happy with the iso shield change. Though im sad theres only 1 charge. Iso cant do much with his sheild when he fights weapons like spectre, vandal or phantom. It was really only good for snipers or shotguns. So the sheild can actually help considering you will most likely enconter snipers or shotguns first
Orbs still spawn, you now have 2 ways of refreshing that 1 free shields. Assume you started 1 sec channel but got no gun fight for 20 sec, then it will go away. Now you need 2 kills to get another charge. But if you do get fight and get a kill, an orb (can also spawn from assist) will spawn which will refresh shield when shot and also get 1/2 charge needed to get another charge. It's for scenarios when you can't shoot the orb otherwise you will die to his teammates trying to trade or you need to reload. In that case getting another kill can grant you the charge needed for 1 sec animation to go in again.
tldr: 3 ways to get shield now. 1 free, 2nd assist or kill with Orb shooting, 3rd if you get 2 kills and charge for doing animation of 1 sec

Pick me up duration was already super short, making it even shorter and cost more is just wild. I agree with the ult increase tho and clove is still gonna be good.
Clove Cost Increase from 100 to 200 is really important, now they can't buy the Ghost + Smoke + Pick me Up, I Think this is a huge nerf solely by this one, kinda like the Viper one, where the 200 to 300 in the poison made u couldn't buy the Poison + Smoke + Light Shield.

i feel like the reyna heal nerf might be too harsh cause best-worst case scenario where she wins a duel with vandals but whiffed couple of shots it will be like -120 with 30 hp plus 50 heal she can survive another 2 vandal shots i hope they changes so that she can survive 3 vandal shots instead

I feel like Iso not having to shoot the bubble to get his shield takes a bit of the fun away of playing him. I get that he's supposed to be stronger now, but the aimlabs element of it was more engaging.

The sprint speed forward hasn't been changed. It's strafing speed i.e. sideways.
honestly, for everyone that doesnt play raze, its kind of a balanced nerf. Raze can still come flying into backsite, and still seems like a nightmare to play against, but shes only limited to that. This matches what they said, that raze players are rewarded too much for being able to satchel into site with no util or support. To everyone that doesn't play raze, her satchels still work. But the satisfaction of going so far is gone.
The neon slide buff of no error and quicker weapon equip is crazy
Im kinda surprised Gekko also didnt receive some kind of nerf to Thrash whether that being increasing the amount of orbs, or making it so that he cant gain orbs towards it until hes used it twice. Like take Phoenix ult for example, he cant get orbs back from it until his ult is dead. Gekko can get like 5 ults a half if theyre a good Gekko.

Its a nerf for reyna in low elo and smurfs but for more competetive players its so good. Its also better balancing wise.
Its actually funny. They release the agents without considering the long time implications, then out of nowhere a Meta will agent will be nerfed to oblivion in order to facilitate playing another agent that was less played/useless before.
I feel they can add the screen smoke on duelist blocking any tag ability so you can't just spam on tagged enemies

you tested neon wrong. first of all neon wall is way longer than smth like phoenix wall so you gonna have to shoot it across the range in order to actually feel the effect of the wall dropping down from behind. otherwise it looks like there is almost no difference. second of all maybe its just me but neon sprint part you weren't rlly using the strafes all that much. people need to remember that its only the strafes that were buffed in order to match the forward movement. that said you also could've been using the strafes in conjunction with the forward movement so maybe you felt like you were flying cuz of that.

As a Valorant player who’s main archenemies have mostly been Neon dashes, Reyna smurfs and since lately some Iso mains, this update is one I dread😂
