I think this is her best album yet. Quirky and creative like her first, and low key introspection like her second. Combined in a beautiful, mature way.
this album is a great example of less is more. i’m really glad she’s showing her vocal skills and versatility so far! i hope she wins best pop vocal album
Too add some extra context for ya. “The Diner” is actually about her stalker who left her creep notes and broke into her parents home to try to give her more notes at the beginning of 2023.
All the songs on this album has a enchanting sound. I ve been loving to listen these on repeat. For me it feels there is a song that fits to every mood on this album. Also i m sad that i m not able to experience these on her tour. :(
love how she's been leaning more into atmospheric tunes. i also LOVE the moments in this album where she was belting, it was nice to finally hear how her vocals can stretch
I personally love the dynamic finneas and her have. I always enjoy when artists work with other producers and writers but I wouldn’t mind if they continue for the long run. They both have a lot of creativity and finneas is one hell of a producer. We have seen the downfalls of certain artists when they work with one producer and how it negatively affects their work but finneas adds some flavor to Billie’s music in each album. They are all distinct and soncially so different yet continue to have the classic Billie sound. This album clearly showcases their versatility. It’s a no skip album for me.
This is her best album yet. Fantastic story telling. The sound is great. Her last album was 🫤 this album is what i loved from her. Some quirky, some soft, some pop. It’s so good
Hi Honest Can we get a Eternal Sunshine review please & a video on George Michael and his impact on the music industry similar to a documentary & a video on Prince & his impact as well. 😁
I hope one day she works with some new producers and writers for her next album. I know she likes working with her brother, but I’d love to see her explore a new direction
Finneas is less like a producer and more like a bandmate. They’re literally a two piece band. It’s just that it’s with Billie’s name. What you’re saying is like asking the lead singer to get new bandmates 💀
Nah, they're a team. They work together to make beautiful music. If they weren't successful, then maybe I would suggest someone else but saying 'I know she likes working with her brother' is so reductive to both their talents. I think you might be confused about what Finneas actually does. What an odd thing to say LOL. Also, they HAVE gone in different directions over the years, you just weren't paying attention.
I'm really curious about the people in this comment section. Some are demanding, some a spiteful, some are just weird, and I'm thinking "Why are you even watching??"
@@zaluwawa20 ikr. it's really sad i discovered him through ariana videos back in 2018, and he used to be a big fan of her. i don't know what happened but i really want him to review the album
I thought Hit Me Hard & Soft was a good album. However I prefer her first 2 albums over this one. I like how bold Billie is w/ sexuality on this album though. I love Billie's songwriting. It always impresses me. Rating: 6.2/10 My Favorite Songs: 1.) Lunch 2.) Chihiro 3.) Skinny 4.) The Diner 5.) Wildflower 6.) Birds Of A Feather My rating is NOT in any specific order. These are just randomly my favorite tracks on the album.
Me personally I would’ve preferred if Lamour was 2 separate songs, I love the 1st half much more than the second and It would’ve been nice to be able to just have it loop instead of rewinding after the first half is done
genuinely one of the best if not the best album to come out this year, it’s her best work. wish it got that number one because it’s a far superior album to the bloated poets department.
@@arthurrimbaud7287 if you're not willing to listen to an artist's music catalog before judging their artistry, then you should not feel entitled to judge them. when i gave billie's music a fair shot i realized she's an amazing songwriter, soulfull singer and criative producer (both musically and on visual media), just like her brother
Is it me or she saying she only has three albums when she actually has four her first album in my opinion is still her best album ocean eyes copycat bellyache some of her best songs came from that album
No bc the way they cancelled and try to assume Billie was queerbaiting when she said I like girls like bffr I love my own community but yall stay doin the absolute most girl we been know billie liked girls the closet was made out of GLASS 😂
The songs are all boring I fear. The only good moments are like 2 mins each in the latter half of various songs with boring beginnings. She should’ve taken these unique and fresh musical ideas and made them songs in their own right instead of annoyingly short segments.
I don’t agree. I don’t get why she already has this big status of an artist she just started not long ago. This album is so bland and dry just sounds like everything else she makes
I think this is her best album yet. Quirky and creative like her first, and low key introspection like her second. Combined in a beautiful, mature way.
Agreed
At least she's singing for first time in her life rather than giving asmr
This album showcases her maturity and I love that she’s belting more often.
Ah SAAAME i adore her louder voice and belts!
she legit sounds like a siren. her drowning in the album cover is the cherry on top
same

That’s horrifying.
birds of a feather is one of the most gorgeous songs I‘ve heard in years

why does everyone NEVER give bittersuite the appreciation it deserves 😭 that song is UNDERRATED as fuck 😭
Her best album imo

I like the newer sound she is giving on this album. Super refreshing

Yes and I love to listen to it in its entirety it is indeed no skip
Loving this album! Birds of a feather I can’t stop playing. Will definitely have to listen to her first two albums!
You should start with Don't Smile At Me so that you can see her growth from a 15-yo artist. So good!
birds of a feather reminds me of paramore and their 2013 era
I just adore her sound and vision

It’s coming for AOTY at the Grammys.
Yikes...
I HOPE SHE WINS, the album is so good in many ways.
Mother Billie aoty never misses
L’amour de ma vie goes so hard i dare to say best song she’s ever put out!
Chihiro’s handsdown her best song she has ever made
I was a casual listener until this album dropped. Chihiro, L'amour De Ma Vie, Lunch, Blue & Birds of a Feather being my personal favorites
Album of the year
So far, yes
Eternal Sunshine 🙏
She’s competing against Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Beyoncé. We’ll see😂
It just came out. Let it sit a bit 😂
@@aditi1729 TTPD and Eternal Sunshine are mid, but I could see an argument for Cowboy Carter

this is her best album imo, love birds of a feather sm!
been waiting for this one!!!
I love this album on repeat

Because it's better ?
commercial appeal and catchy songs

2020 was a rough year for everyone.
This album made me a fan tbh
Not including CHIHIRO as your favorite songs - just totally discredit the credibility of your review. That’s a masterpiece.
I hope one day she works with some new producers and writers for her next album. I know she likes working with her brother, but I’d love to see her explore a new direction
Can’t imagine she would. I feel like where Billie is, Finneas is too. Maybe add more people but he will always be there
The magic of Billie’s music is Finneas. If you take him away there’s a big chance you lose a big essence of her sound, lyrics and production.

It’s Album of the Year for me 💙
Props for the editing!! Best Billie album so far.
this album was great
Where was the Wildflower and Bittersuite mentions 😢
True
Wildflower is a masterpiece ❤
Bittersuite needs more love😢
The Greatest too 😔
Wildflower one if the best song in the album, like wtf
10’s across the board.
happier than ever is still her best imo but this album is so damn good and will stay on repeat
Happier Than Ever is her worst 😭
it's a great album indeed!
question: Where is the ETERNAL SUNSHINE review????
Mother Billie
my favorite album 🩵
This is the first album of hers I’ve listened to the whole way. The others didn’t really resonate with me but I enjoyed this one

Every single Billy Eilish song I've ever heard is just her whispering over her brother's tuneless music.
