Just some info: Exo is a combination of two groups. One from Korea (EXO-K) and the other from China (EXO-M). They perform as a whole group as simply named EXO and separately on some occasions (when they promote in Korea and China, as their two major fanbase countries). There's 12 members, (although: 2 from EXO M Kris & Luhan) left and filed lawsuits from the company - SM Entertainment - a Korean music company). EXO is from the planet Exoplanet with supernatural powers. They are also known to be a rookie group from the company and does very extensive choreography. Overdose is by far their highest charted song in both Korea and China (# 2) and it's known to be their comeback song. I cant believe ppl got this excited over a music video...I mean its probably the best visual effects in a music video ive ever seen...but not enough to have me screaming and yelling over it...
This song is my first exposure to K-Pop, never even knew about it till a couple days ago. What is the difference between "EXO-K" and "EXO-M"? I saw the same song on youtube but with those two different names for the band?
Blake Dale You see, EXO-K and EXO-M are just one big group named EXO. But for some reason unknown (I may be wrong, but maybe it's because K is mostly Korean and M are mostly Chinese; yes, even Chinese people learn Korean and decide to go into K-Pop), they seldom perform together. So EXO-K and EXO-M are basically one group divided into two mini-groups. Hope this comment helped :p
영민이 Wow, that's really interesting, thanks for taking the time to reply! I've never even heard of a concept like that in terms of music bands before :)
영민이 To my understanding, the original intention was to gain influence in both the Korean and the Chinese market (which has been mostly untapped). With that said, EXO-M is losing ground (after much success), due to two of their Chinese members leaving the group.
I don't think think game play would work very well unless I just look at cut scene reactions. Game trailers would be cool but I've not seen many reactions online. Would love to do something related to either Dragon Age Inquisition or World of Warcraft.
I think this music video... doesn't fits co mashup, only few people would probably get it if they like the song, i don't know the song, therefore i don't get why people are so hyped. But if you could find some reactions to song like "Turn down for what", you know, where something funny/ ridiculous happen, that would be awesome to watch :D
Turns out that the KPop community is actually very large, so people who are into it will enjoy it I hope. Personally, I don't know anything about KPop, just wanted to try something different, I may do a few more at some point maybe. I am going to try a western style music video eventually, just to see the end result, maybe a concert. I don't know the song "Turn down for what". However, like you say, mostly I will stick to the more geeky/nerdy type of stuff in the future as that's what I personally enjoy the most but it's nice to try different things.
I hope someone will answer me, because .... I don't get it. I heard the song, I was "Yeah, not bad.", but why are there so many peopple reacting to this ? There are more people in this video than in a video for The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones ! So, I would like to know : why does this group seem so popular ??
With respect to my mashup of Game of Thrones, there's at least 107 people in that video. In this mashup there's at least 57 people reacting. I don't really know anything about k-pop so can't really answer the rest of your question though I would love to hear an answer because I think it's all very interesting. Personally, I thought the song was enjoyable enough.
107 people ?? No way ! It looked like there were more people in this video. Maybe because they were in groups. And for the song, I agree, it's good to hear, but still, that's incredible for a K-Pop song.
***** Well, I stopped counting at 107 people in The Red Wedding mashup. There are actually a lot more in that one if you count the people off screen too (their audio is retained but I couldn't fit them onto the smaller screens so they got cut out). This video looks like it has a whole lot because, like you saw, there's a lot of groups. This is the only K-Pop song I have ever heard after doing a random search on youtube.
Too much constant squealing and screaming. A reaction video works better when it's a moment that sets everyone off not just constant freaking out over every little thing.
In general, I agree with you. However, I like the constant excitement these people have for the music video, so for me, personally, I really like it. I don't make any money from any of the reaction video mashups on this channel (they all have copyright claims and so the content owners take all the ad revenue). I'm happy freely experimenting and figuring out what I personally enjoy in a mashup (though I'm still happy to hear constructive criticism which yours clearly is). You might want to avoid my Beyonce reaction mashup, another experiment which didn't work out the way I had hoped, will probably upload in a few days.
Hi Mevani. You just watched a bunch of kpop fans (and non-kpop fans) reacting to their first respective viewings of a music video by EXO-K. I can't really say more than that because I don't know anything about kpop, this was just something I saw the other day and figured I'd do a mashup because I wanted to try something different. Hope you didn't dislike it too much though. I intend to do another music video reaction (probably a concert) at some point on this channel. I don't take requests because otherwise this hobby will become a chore. I only do mashups to things I watch, yes, otherwise I would get bored really quickly. I also don't like requests from people to be in the mashups because there's only so many reactions I can include. I hope that answers your questions :)
I was more annoyed watching that particular video as i really hate K-POP and didnt notice what i was watching til it was too late :). And i completely understand the no requests part now. Although i wish we could request certian things to be mash-up'ed. I was worried for awhile that Beth's death wouldnt be included in your set of amazing mash-ups and it was one i really wanted to see.Thnx.
R-RIP headphones users
Id never thought id see kpop on this channel (HUGE KPOP FAN HERE FOR YEARS! EXO YAAAAASSSSS) but i loved it!
This made me happy :) I'm an EXO fangirl myself
Yay, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Seems like only a few people liked this particular mashup so doubt I'll be doing another one anytime soon :)
You certainly picked a good music video for this. EXO fangirls be crazy! :D

내가 처음부터 유난히 시끄러운 누님 찾으려고 천천히 돌아봐야겠냐?
All I heard was screaming..when they enjoyed the song though?
I cant believe ppl got this excited over a music video...I mean its probably the best visual effects in a music video ive ever seen...but not enough to have me screaming and yelling over it...
I suppose it all depends on how invested into the band/music a person is and what type of personality they have.
Blake Dale yea you are most likely right...btw you should do a mashup reaction of the "Shia Labeouf Live" video
Sorry, I don't take requests, otherwise this hobby would become a chore for me.
Blake Dale Wasnt a request, just referring you some ideas if you run out in the long run. anyway keep up the good work
Thanks.
So if anyone has a question/problem with this whole K-Pop, feel free to ask me. I'm a Korean.
This song is my first exposure to K-Pop, never even knew about it till a couple days ago. What is the difference between "EXO-K" and "EXO-M"? I saw the same song on youtube but with those two different names for the band?

Blake Dale Well, that's K-Pop for you. You can't be surprised enough.
영민이 To my understanding, the original intention was to gain influence in both the Korean and the Chinese market (which has been mostly untapped). With that said, EXO-M is losing ground (after much success), due to two of their Chinese members leaving the group.
#EXO❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yeah.. I prefer trailers mashup.
Fair enough but I'm still going to experiment with a few ideas to stop myself getting bored :)
maybe games trailers/gameplays.
I don't think think game play would work very well unless I just look at cut scene reactions. Game trailers would be cool but I've not seen many reactions online. Would love to do something related to either Dragon Age Inquisition or World of Warcraft.
By the way.. First terminator:genisys trailer coming tomorrow.
I know but I'm doubtful if I'll do a mashup to that as I've got something on.
Hey I really love how you made this compilation. What did you use to compile it?
+Benson Lee Thank you. I used Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
HUMAN MAGICAL
It is worth. EXO are amazing
Please can you do growl by Exo reaction mashup
one life try love somebody oversea and what would you do if you see them? scream and feeling happy, of course

Of course, it is nice :) The most important thing is to do videos, that you enjoy making
I agree! :)
K-Pop is larger thab you think, Adik.

Yeah, me too. Probably. I can't make the difference between J-Pop and K-Pop, so, it may be the only K-Pop I heard.
lol, I've never even heard of J-Pop. One day, when I find the time, I shall have to educate myself on this stuff :D

That's cool, just my 2 cents.
I think your best videos so far are "Who is Missy" & Avengers 2, keep it up.
