- Vadodara, Gujarat was a mind blowing experience on food. This day was power packed on food varieties. Each food i tried was best in its class. I was told by few people that what i will get to eat in vadodara will be no different from what is existing in Ahmedabad and Surat but this turned out to be completely different.
Some of the food i experienced is Sev Usal, Tam Tam, Peda, Omelette at Raju omelette, Freak shake and much more.

I think Tam Tam would be a quick snack when you travel by train or car and tummy filling too....
Those penda remind me of dharwad peda of karnataka very similar..... Peda ka softness by pressing it.... whatae innovation something new....
Next to Raju omelette shop you have patanjali health shop accha kao aur accha sehath banao.....
What I have noticed in Gujarath is there are lot of bazaars like sarafa bazaar where its a gated street food place you can eat whatever you like ...this type of places should be there every where in India so that at one place you get everything selfcontained......
The matka biryani looked so yummy and innovative that I wanted to put my hand inside the monitor and take a bite from your plate.....
the paneer angara also looked so different and yummy....
You have to come empty stomach to eat all these mouth watering delicacies....
Pan ka bunty kaise ho saktha hai....
lekin pan ka innovation agar southindia mai aajatha toh tsunami aajayega...

Tam Tam..it like pop corn... to best enjoy pop corn you should be watching movie in a theater.....
matka biryani was nice... you are bang on... plus this self contained places for food... i noticed this more in Gujarat then any other place... yes Indore also like you mentioned sarafa.....

i missed Jagdish farsan.... feeling so bad... wilth so much recommendation also i missed... i reached Vadodra at 1.30 pm despite starting at 6 am high from traffic that da between surat and Vadodara....
then left at 1.15 am... reached back surat at 5.30 am... it was like 24 hours out ......

Sev usal reminded misal pav of maharashtra yet it is different cheese masala sev something new
amazed seeing tam tam i could count 23 different varieties mixed
that penda looked same like babusingh thakur peda of dharwad karnataka
(this peda you can crush it add little milk stir it and eat or crush and mix it in cold kheer)
dum matka biryani aka shahi pulav was awesome and even paneer angara
the level of innovation paan with iccream chocolate paan and other 16 paan flavours its next level !!!
