Just hit that subscribe. I'm going for it because I'm tired of paying for subpar work at the nail salon.

Question. I did the dip powder method to myself, and did the French nail application, but my smile lines are different in length on some nails/on each nail, how do you make sure each nail has the same length? (How do you know how far down to dip on the first application )
And second question is , how do you fix up a nail where your white smile line didn’t take well (maybe it’s from me over filing it off)

@sunflower6434 - Great questions.. Would you like me to respond via a video? If so, I can make one this week and I will tag you once I post it. Thoughts 💭

I seem to get more lifting with certain powders. Is there a way I should be prepping my powders (tapping, stirring) or is it possible it’s a quality issue? Thank you for your videos!! I used your method on my current set and it’s stronger and I like the shape better!

Are you using a Primer? Are prepping your nails? Pushing back and removing the cuticles?

@@naildipstudio I use a “step 1” dip liquid primer, and this last time I also wiped with alcohol, but I’m open to additional priming. I use a glass cuticle pusher to clean my nail plates and push back cuticles.
With my current manicure I have most nails with a peachy dip into a pink ombre. The two accent nails that aren’t peach (one pink, same as the obre color, one gold glitter) are lasting without lifting, and the peach ones are lifting. It just makes me wonder, since my prep was the same for all my nails.
      Thank you for your response!

Hi thank you, How do you prevent your natural nails from damage? My nails are literally bendable and thin after using dip powders.

Dip powders don’t usually leave your nails damaged. Damage can occur from the following:
      (1) improper product removal
      (2) over filing your natural nails b4 dipping or using a course nail file / over filing your nails
      (3) switching from a traditional acrylic with WEAK NAILS from years of wear and correlating that damage to dip. When in reality the nails were weak from the start.
Are you using a clear dip powder as a base b4 you apply your pigmented colors? Are you soaking your nails off or are you ripping the product off? Also if your nails are thin and bendable are you using any vitamin supplements or have started any new Rx; that could also thin out your nails?

@@naildipstudio I’m thinking that I’ve possibly over filed and/or removed the dip powder incorrectly so now I’m just trying to allow my nails time to recover. I’ll keep you posted. Happy Mother’s Day!

I completely understand! I strongly suggest using a 180 or 200 nail file; you can’t over file bcuz it will take to long 🙃! I have a video on how to remove your dip manicure using the “double-bowl” method - you should try it!
Yes, please keep me posted and Happy Mother’s Day 2 U!!
