Strictly from a film making aspect, the best example of how to get the nude scene done in one take was from the movie Private Lessons. The maid is stripping, and taking her time doing it. Once she is topless, a body double steps in to stand next to the boy she is stripping for. The body double then steps out. She finally takes off her panties. The boy runs out of the room. This was done, because in real life, the actress was 30 while the boy was half her age (IRL).
The Real Thing Isn't Allowed - Except for the movies where it is. There have been several mainstream movies where actors have had unsimulated sex. Maybe they didn't take it all the way to its climax, but there are movies where you can see explicit oral sex and at least one with actual vaginal sex. Maybe they're indie films and have different rules, but they're not "adult" films by any stretch of the imagination. One actress who annoys me in regard to her nude scenes is Alyssa Milano. She did at least three nude photo shoots for various magazines when she was 20-25 or so. She had raunchy nude scenes in at least 3-4 movies, and an episode of the outer limits. Then she did an about-face, and she and her mother tried to wipe all evidence of her nudity off the internet.
The fact that Titanic (1997) was so universally acclaimed that when broadcasted in Lithuania it was rated N-7 (meaning ages 7 and up) even tho it had Kate Winslet breasts shown out the wazoo...
Wouldn't it be more honest and helpful for actors to show their children how to behave rather than say they wont be nude because of them? No means no! Men and women like to be nude sometimes but still have to be respected. Mums who have had children often change their body shape but still like to be nude sometimes as all people do. I suppose film makers say film is only for entertainment not education. Surely it can be both.
Hats off to Jennifer Lawrence doing MMA in the full buff. No Hard Feelings. That was one of the most shocking moments of film for me. And yes i did rewind and watch several times. Laughing through most of them.
These days, nudity isn't so 'off the wall' as the past, good grief they are just body parts, of which we all have! To think in many African countries, both genders often will walk around nude, and nobody thinks differently of it, as it's been that way for centuries. Nudity is over rated, yet I do understand the choice of 'not wanting their children' to deal with it later in life as they grow older.
American culture is very prudish when it comes to nudityy, just look at the difference with European films with women freely showing their breasts as if it was nothing, in certain scenes where it makes sense of course.

Of course, the studios don't want this to happen, they want the titillations to continue so we'll all see their films and get some level of arousement. Nudity should not be confused with sexuality. In Europe, many beaches are ' topless' - no big deal, Europe isn't hung up on nudity. Not unusual to see naked people lying around in public parks. I used to frequent a nude beach - did nothing for me... but go see girls in bikinis, and I had to lie on my stomach.
