I loved your recap about journaling there at the end. I have been journaling for I would say 6 months but the main thing I wanted out of it was intentionality. Not forcing yourself on a schedule helps because like you said, if it’s on your mind or there’s something to actually write about, it’s way more helpful. In addition to journal entries, ever since Covid began, I have been writing something I’m thankful for each day and have kept it up and for me, it’s not only satisfying to see all the grid blocks (dates) of things to be thankful for, but it also lets you reflect on the positive things that sometimes get left out when you’re not focused on them. Good luck!
That's a really good idea, I think I'll try that. It's definitely easy to get stuck in a repetitive cycle during quarantine especially, so focusing on one new thing each day sounds helpful. Thanks!
YASSSS!!!!! Thank you for sharing. I hope that you can continue to grow with Journaling. I transition all the time between word docs and physical notebook writing. And after a while, something clicks. For me, writing in a notebook is cathartic. Writing allows me slow down, focus and create something in that 30-45 minutes I spend writing and exploring myself and my thoughts. Annnyy ways! Cheers to your future success!!!

Thanks for the reply! For some reason the computer is more cathartic and relaxing for me. I think it’s because I’m on it so much that it’s “part of me” haha. Definitely worth exploring different ways!
I love journaling!! The days I do it, I feel more focused and aligned. Also it made it easier for me by using self-reflection prompts!
I'll have to try that, thanks for sharing!
