I know alot of you are gonna say it's just a bromance but there are so many scenes that express the true story of novel in very subtle way like forehead ribbon and many more. Not to mention this song clearly mentions their love and yearning and Xiao Zhan's solo Ost also mentions clearly that he was in love with Lan Zhan. If you read novel you'll understand so many scenes were actually indicating to their relationship and love for each other.
That is absolutely correct. Thanks for the excellent production team and crews had made such a phenomenal live drama. The two actors were incredibly fit into their roles and brought the characters into lives. How lucky China has such great talented artists.

In the end, isnt the Lan clan the only clan who didnt have any corrupted members from the past conflict? I would pick Lan Clan as the number one clan no matter what, its their excessive 3000 gusulan clan rules that manage to let them stay clean, along with Lan Huan as clan leader its gonna be the best clan. Yunmen Jiang is relatively good too, but i find problem with Jiangcheng as clan leader, he's too tsundere to be a good one. In the end, its the problem of you wanting to be what kind of cultivator. If you wanna be a righteous and clean one, Lan Clan is the most obvious choice. They dont get swayed by benefits.

The person in charge of auditions originally only did auditions based off photos of actors. The reason she rejected Yibo twice was because she didn't think someone so young who looked like Yibo would be able to fit and play the part of Lan Wangji/Lan Zhan. Plus, at the time I believe he was just an idol (UNIQ) and not really an actor. So he was only known as a rather young (20 year old) idol who was trying to become an actor. And his initial image did not fit Lan Wangji/Lan Zhan. Thus why he kept getting rejected. But when she couldn't find any photos that made her think of Lan Wangji/Lan Zhan, she decided to do an in person audition and immediately as soon as Yibo stepped through the door, she was like THATS HIM.@@suldra915

I watched the show first, then read the books. Rewatching it, there are so many little moments they got through (despite censorship) that I missed the first time. This was my first C-drama and I'm thankful it was. It's just so beautiful and having read the novel, I loved it even more. The drama was very unusual from what I've seen before. It's an example of a deep bond encompassing, enduring, and pure. It's not like other dramas that characters shove their relationship in front of us. It instead showed their journey, parting, reconciliation, promise, and adventure. They were acquaintances, friends, lovers even soulmates. They've been through thick and thin, through sorrow and joy, *together.* When Wei Wuxian finally pull his head out of his oblivious ass and confessed, '...I want to night hunt with you for the rest of my life' I bawled my eyes out. They belong together.

This was my first C-drama and I'm thankful it was. It's just so beautiful and having read the novel, I loved it even more.
The drama was very unusual from what I've seen before. It's an example of a deep bond encompassing, enduring, and pure. They were acquaintances, friends, lovers even soulmates. They've been through thick and thin, through sorrow and joy, *together.*
