I'm so confused. Are these over the top, big edges the new trend? I'm 4 minutes in and they have ruined majority of the looks. The one girl with green and black hair is the only one that looked a lil decent because she only did one side and it wasn't as noticable.

As I watch this I ask myself why do wigs and makeup exist? Shouldn't woman feel beautiful without it. It looks like a custom, everybody trying to look like a "mermaid."

I can’t answer for anyone but I personally like wigs and makeup because I like to put pretty colors on myself, but like to mainly wear black so where I lack color in clothes, I add in hair or makeup. But, hair can only take so much which is where wigs come in, cause then we can have any color/s and length we want if our hair doesn’t grow or is damaged or can’t be dyed due to work or high too much maintenance to upkeep. Makeup is fun for a lot of reasons. Just because one likes wigs and makeup doesn’t mean they aren’t confident in themselves, but customizing our appearances is fun, especially if it ends up looking like a mermaid, or as I like, fairies and clowns lol
