If you pay attention, she is using flesh-coloured earphones so I think she recorded the voice and the video simultaneously. And there is no variation of the moves of her lips and the voice. Btw, this is a very expensive mic for props haha, an AKG C12VR, almost 6000€. The piano player is Joost Van Den Broek from After Forever. Great reaction guys!
Piano: Joost van den Broek with whom she was in After Forever. After Forever did this also in the beginning 2000's. It was approved by Ann .th-cam.com/video/6bwZ2zWVZd4/w-d-xo.html Camera by Hannes van Dahl (Floor's husband)
Hey guys! Following the "leaning away from the mic" that you'd commented on I want to suggest Nightwish's "How's the heart" live acoustic that Floor and Troy did for Planet Rock radio. It sends shivers down my spine everytime that I hear that song. Great reaction!
Floor "The Unstoppable" Jansen!!! Floor's covers kept us sane during lockdown.... And in this song you can see, hear and feel the music,... I absolutely adore this version ❤. Plus, the piano player in here is Joost van den Broek from Floors first band After Forever !!! NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘.
Anne Wilson reacted to Floor performance when she first done this song in her first band After forever. Floor was sitting in her recording studio, Hannes her husband video recorded it and the piano was from her fellew ex bandmate and good friend Joost. Oh and the mic is real and very very expensive as other reactors in the know commented.
Floor likes to sing this song. I think Ann has heard about Floor singing this song but not this version. Floor and Nightwish finished their last Nightwish tour for a while. Also they had to cancel their lat concert because of Floor's health. Her pregnancy is not affected P.S Floor is almost 7 months pregnant.
"The Wilson Sisters ,you just can not beat...? You never beat the Wilsons its just impossible" And then they may say what they think of it....? And then Andy crushes it by saying he was tearing up. Lets see how many people tear up with the Wilson version. Point made , Andy:)
The only good thing about the pandemic was Floor doing covers to keep in touch with her fans. The grand piano is played by Sir Joost Van Den Broek, who was a band member from Floors past. They have always remained close friends. Hannes, her husband, videos most of her home made videos. If you listen to the piano, Joost plays the guitar runs perfectly.
Love the Heart version but I am going to disagree with you guys. I prefer this one. What does it for me is the way Floor is story telling it. It feels like she's is living the song. Don't know too many singers that can do that and make grown men cry. She is seriously talented.
Agreed. I'm not even going to compare the vocals, because both Floor and Ann are all-time great vocalists. However, I think this arrangement is on another level from the Heart version. The Heart version is sappy by comparison. This one just punches you in the gut.
It's more well known as a heart cover so it's more of a reference. Floors version is closer to the heart version as well compared to the original by I ten
Floor couldn't beat Heart? This was a stripped version of Floor - let her go on stage with her band and there is nothing left of Heart except a glory from long forgotten times.

The video isn't After Forever and I can't find a cover for After Forever either. This is some supergroup for a Christmas special. It's good anyway.

I concur extra suggestion, Adagio (Cover Lara Fabian) m.th-cam.com/video/KZRHLLM6AU4/w-d-xo.html
No one has ever done this song like this, Floor's emotive tones are off the chart

I loved Heart as well! However, the Wilson’s never brought tears to my eyes.
No one can beat Floor 🤘
The piano player is called Joost and he was in her first band called After Forever and her 2nd band Revamp

I highly recommend Disdain by Revamp if you want to see see sing several vocal styles in one song.

Am I the only one who imagine floor doing great gig in the sky

I agree. I love both but this one speaks to the heart. (Pun not intended)

Ann liked Floor's version.
Heart song was also a cover of the group i ten I do not like Heart but Floor is outstanding
That mic is no prop - it cost her over $7000. She has spoken about it in her Q&A.
