BACKPACKING CALIFORNIA // The Ohlone Wilderness Trail

My girlfriend and I decided to backpack California's Ohlone Wilderness Trail in very early February. We modified the true trail to go from Del Valle regional park to Sunol Regional Wilderness rather than all the way to Mission Peak. Total distance was 21 miles and would make a nice 1-2 night backpacking trip. Numerous campsites located along this trail and is relatively cheap to do compared to many other regions in California. Keep your eyes open for plenty of wildflowers and wild turkeys, especially in spring!
