I watched this game as it was played I thought we were done for when Baylor had us 14-0 in the 3rd quarter then we came back and made 14-12 then when we made that pass play and won 20-14 I was jumping up and down and hollering like I had one the lottery,oh the good ole days
I was at that game and had great a great time being in the band. I remember the Franklin TD catch vividly. Wild exciting times back during the SWC days!
3 Things I recall of this game: How very loud the crowd was, Rouse's td run in the first quarter that was called back for holding (it was one of the best runs I ever witnessed) and the winning td pass that was to the tight end (they had not thrown to the TE all year and it was a second string TE that caught that pass).
When Luther Franklin caught that pass and scored, I was jumping up and down and hollering, good times, Baylor was always tough, it was usually billed as the hardest hitting game on Arkansas' schedule.
Cannot believe the announcer said this was a "NUETRAL" site game. Was that Al Michaels? How can an announcer be that uneducated on Arkansas and make that statement. You only need a couple brain cells to do a tiny little bit of research to figure out that this is "HOME FIELD" territory. Teams always would want to play in Fayetteville over playing in Little Rock. Oh well.
@@Razorpig378 No way man. I disagree 100% Little Rock is a HOME game. We cannot bring recruits, but it is an "off campus" home game none the less. When Nutt was here, Little Rock fans were the 12th man and teams did not want to come into War Memorial. Arkansas does not have that going on at Dallas. 2 totally different venues, it is like comparing apples to oranges, just not the same. Go Hog's!!!
A real kickoff return! 5 man defensive front! Greg Thomas! Atwater? No NIL, no portal, football played for sheer joy of it.

The kind of play that hasn't been at arkansas for almost 2 decades
wow WMS seemed pretty loud
It used to be a pretty feared place.

This Hog defense was punishing!!! Every hit was massive!!! Hard hitting team!!!
I was selling sodas at this game. That 88 yard Touchdown bomb looked much larger in person than on video (NO OFFENSE WARMACHINE2013).
Greg Thomas was a great option Qb at Arkansas. To think Calcagni was there and Quinn Grovey was on his way to Arkansas. Hatfield recruited well.
Hatfield is the best coach they ever had, and the classiest.

Back when we were dominant in conference play. Well....at least a threat.
Watched Baylor QB Cody Carlson play in HS before I transferred & played with Arkansas QB Greg Thomas. 2 Good SWC QBs.
love hearing the young Al Michaels call this game....
I was at this game. Great comeback for the Hogs!
bummer but thx for looking

Because it's not a home game just like when Arkansas plays Texas A&M at Cowboy's stadium is considered neutral site.
You're correct, he should have know that the University of Arkansas plays at two home fields.
@@Razorpig378 War Memorial is a home field, has been since the late 1940s.

No man I don't. I'll try to see if someone has it though.
Cherico was a BAD MAN
Someone held up a sign after the game that read "ARKANSAS MINUS BAYLOR EQUALS COTTON"
In my opinion BAYLOR was the HOGS arch rival in the old SEC
Great Arkansas DB's (Atwater and Lassiter) snatched that one away. Baylor got it's revenge Homecoming 86' however.
do you have the 87 game when the hogs scored with seconds left and won 10-7?
