Korean dramas, Kpop and BTS is not what South Korea is all about. Many foreigners like to associate these with Korea. I visit Korea/Jeju to experience the real culture, the people (Not celebrities), beautiful natural sceneries/infrastructure (Not Kdrama sites), authentic foods, natural heritage sites and history past and present. Nothing to do with all the fiction we watch on netflix :)
Going for solo hiking tomorrow and I’m very anxious. I don’t know if i can find this place😅 staying here in Seogwipo and taxi is very expensive.. but i guess i have to take the taxi if there is no other choice.
Bus systems cheapest, one most recomended to get around Jeju. YT many videos how to use bus system. I will try this method when I go back next year with family.
@@1uniqueislander968 yes. Bus is cheaper. I rode the bus no. 181 from Seogwipo to Jeju International Uni then took a taxi to Gwaneusma. Bus cost around KRW 1500 and taxi KRW 6300. The trail is not as hard as people claimed.. l’m glad I started from Gwaneusma and went down to Seongpanak.

Is Jeju Island just like they make it out to be in the Korean Dramas?

I am going there alone on 4th May. Super excited and saw many people said it is very hard which make me nervous.
Will do the same route as Butterfly.
