You'd be here crying about how the refs decided the game. Some great Huskers broadcasters said it better than I can. They said you're going to get some breaks and you're going to get some bad calls. You can't depend on the refs to win you football games. Georgia and Alabama don't sit there bitching about the refs because they're good enough that it doesn't matter. That's it. Should'a, would'a, could'a but didn't. It was a fun, close game and someone won and someone didn't. Learn from it, get smarter, get better, do better. That's all it is. You wanna blame someone else then you are NOT going to get better. Figure it out.
I am a Husker fan forever but I can't figure this out. The O line did a good job blocking all game only to dissolve like hot butter in overtime. Seems very hard to believe.
Nebraska fans are the ultimate sheep. 4 thousand consecutive sellouts only to have 7 straight losing seasons, and finally when they're good again, they fall short against other good teams.
Nebraska fans are NOT sheep. Huskers fans are the best fans in the country; they're super classy too. I lived in Omaha for a few years, but never jumped on the Huskers bandwagon (although I'm sure they'd have welcomed me if I had). Great people. And why do they fill up Memorial Stadium every game? First, they love their team. Second, other than rodeo or hitting a restaurant for a prime rib special, what the hell else are you going to do on a fall Friday or Saturday evening in Nebraska? Nebraska football is THE ticket. Fun times and good people. It's just a game. It's supposed to be fun. Let them have their fun.

Ironically, Bo Pelini said after he was fired, "We’ll see what they can do when I’m f***ing gone". Look who ended up being right.

If Illinois were as good as they think they are, this game shouldn't have been close. When half the opposing team's offensive line is injured, they don't have a starting kicker, and their best secondary player goes out, you should dominate if you actually belong in any conversations
