One of the most enjoyable vlogs I have ever seen. All other young farmers should take note of what you did in this vlog . And keep a record of the way things were done back in the day. These story's are PRICELESS.

Another great video men great to hear old stories of Irish farming! I'm a non farmer but I see and feel the pressure on farmers nationwide due to poor policies in government and so on, please god they get they're acts together an appreciate the hard working men and women of the farming industry who in my opinion are the back bone of our land we get a great standard of meat, grains, milk and so on it's a shame how farmers are treated and I wish all yous the best of luck for the future

Stooks , stacks...and ricks....ah the days! Most farming people had potatoes, eggs, porridge, cabbage, milk butter and bacon. ...no telephone, cars, etc.....a great "fireside" conversation ...well done!
I was in( Willie?) Stuart's sawmills in Ennybegs with my father getting timber oak posts sawed in the 1950s . Some folks had a horse churn similarly powered.

Brings back memories i remember my neighbor had a 1947 David Brown crop master he used to dig out spuds this time of year. The first combine i remember was a Clayson that was in the sixties. The first rotary mower i worked was in 1971 it was a Kuhm with disks or saucers no drums that was driven by a Massy 135 .your father and uncle tell great stories i would love to chat with them. Stay safe.
