Some additional about RD dada . In a music conference a journalist had an opportunity to interview the Late Pundit Bhimsen Joshi. While the reporter approached the building where Joshi ji was staying, he was stunned to hear the song KUCH TOH LOG KAHENGE floating from the building. He was more taken aback when found out that it was indeed Mr. Joshi who was listening to the song. The reporter commented about Pundit ji being a renowned Hindustani classical singer, it was strange that he was listening to a film song. Bhimsen ji laughed aloud saying that anyone who does not listen to compositions of R D Burman, he does not understand what music is. He went on saying that "Look how beautifully Kishore has rendered this difficult composition, hats off. Are you aware my dear friend that this song is purely based on Raag Khammaj in the beginning but beautifully dissolves into Raag Kalavati in-between? Brilliantly sung and what voice. We are thankful that Kishore never learned music and hence never ventured into our domain or else we classical singers would have found it extremely difficult to earn our bread and water". Such was the admiration of Kishore and R D in the music fraternity. Truly spellbinding !
Beautiful Analysis...!!Thats the beauty of Pancham Da’s Music.Even without any intricate or technical knowledge of music, once can simply picture the song in the mind on hearing this. You just don’t “hear” his songs. You visualise it.Chingari....is Magical Composition.Only Kishore Da could have done justice to this composition. Sometimes I feel that this world does not deserve such artists as it fails to recognise them and their boons. Therefore all Greats leave this world early.Only the fortunate have been able to be in His Era..The Blessed ones actually Sang his compositions and worked with him...!!Pancham Da..The world needs you now like never before.Keep your Blessing Flowing...!!🙏🙏
@Kaushal S. Inamdar: What a depth at Analysis & explanation with the logic associated with it. Must tell: you are blessed with a rare skill: " How to bring Audience attention to your contents". I was there in the audience on the day - you were just flawless. Many of us sensed You have too much in your bag & sharing only some portion. Recommend to re-think - let us have one more round from you. After our return - we went on sharing take awayes with each other till 4.30 am - decided not to open Beer Bottles after witnessing such an Awesome Experience! @ Panchammagic Team: Please consider sharing entire contents - Kaushal Ji covered on that day. We are okay if those are in parts. Yes - Thank You for this Clip - Audio quality is improved - Editor you are doing excellent - translations in English is spot on & in sync with screen run. Repeating my previous comment: We have starved a lot so far & we all know Much Much More Treasure is with you! Keep Sharing !~
Three instrument use for the song Koi jab tumahra hruday Tod de Guitar Tabla and Flute.Purab Pashchim release on 1970 and Amar prem on 1972...That means he is not first to use minimum instrument.
Don't know if you are Marathi. In Marathi when you like someone a lot, when you feel very close to someone, you call them like this, not with ji or any other suffix. It is nowhere to show disrespect or insult... in fact he admires Panchamda a lot...
@@sunrays22 Do you mean politicians? Well, that's a different league. They may get offended if you don't put a ji or saheb after their name. I was more talking about artistes or players or actors etc who are close to your heart... irrespective of their age.. It is more to show love and closeness than anything else.. The context.. the way it is used
I have sorry to say your knowledge of Bollywood music is not good. Please listen the song Koi jab tumahra hruday Tod de..They use only 3 instrument...Flute dholak and guitar.
What about L.P...They are also brilliant...it is unfortunate that people like you don't understand and underestimate. If R.D.is so good then why 27 th flop musically flop...

Loved the enthusiasm of Kaushal S Inamdar as he describes RDB's vision and creativity for this song
