It was a nice moment when Sam was waving the towel at the crowd, especially since he is usually pretty stoic and doesn't show much emotion during games. KOC has him really dialed in, but Sam deserves a lot of credit himself. You can really see the number three overall arm talent and now he's finally in a good system with the right coaching but his own concentration and work ethic have a lot to do with it too. Darnold never complained about his situations in MY or Carolina or about being a backup in SF. All he did was put his head down and work. Credit also to KOC for specifically picking Sam out and seeing the potential that had not been unlocked yet. KOC might be the best QB coach in the NFL.
@ why can’t Jalen Hurts do it very well then? Darnold is asked to constantly hunt downfield, and is throwing absolute dots. You don’t automatically get 12td to 0 turnovers the last 4 games if you have a great WR duo. Goff is protected by a running game, getting wide open passes constantly thru play action, simple screen passes, etc. rarely asked to do much else.
Cousins was muffing his ears alot on Sunday. Good jobs fans for being loud. I went to my first games this year, 49ers with my grandpa and dad and the raiders game. Skol Purple Daily
For me, resigning Sam is now on the table. But it has to make sense for the team money wise. Let's say it's 2 years 70 mil. I'm in. Sam will want more years and more money, but I just don't see it happening to be completely honest.
@@roryolson61makes sense if Jones wants to stay here another year and fight knowing he would most likely be the backup. Though like you said that only comes into consideration of Sam walks
I’m willing to bet JJM has an even higher ceiling and higher floor than Darnold. If we move on from him, that could easily be a mistake, in my opinion.
Darnold is not in the MVP conversation anywhere but here at Purple Daily. Will anyone else give the respect for him as a consideration of a MVP vote. No one gives the Vikings credit as a Super Bowl contender, yet. 😢

Yeah man he gained so much confidence and it was an mvp performance 👍
@@samphilipp4997- Sam had the best stats for a QB this weekend. He was a hair away from a perfect game!
Now this is the type of Sam reporting im talking about. 👏👏👏
Darnold WAY more impressive than Goff. Goff is protected in that offense. Darnold required to do way more in this offense
Goffs bread and butter is play action. He's mid at anything else so lions better pray they running game keeps going
@ exactly.
Like throw it to 2 of the best wrs in the league

The funday game was fun to watch👍
Of course Forno likes the kid who says,”Oh boy, sleep! That’s where I’m a Viking!” 😂

MVP. Come on man.
After 2 losses every one was like here's the Darnold we thought he was
Forno came on the show hungry. So many food analogies lmao. Good job judd dovetailing onto an ad
Hopefully he stays humble. A lot of people riding his bandwagon. Only months ago they were trashing him.
Feel like Darnold only gets sacked if 2 or more guys get thru. He usually gets out of it if it’s only one. Gets away from 2 a lot of times too tho lol
I want the Chipotle Chili recipe.
Dobbs and Mullens weren't given the chance that Darnold has had
2 items better the second day? Chili and potato salad.
We as viking fan hope the packer some how fall to who Dat nation Monday night

I was thinking 2 ye 50M with some guaranteed. And I wonder what they do with D Jones? Is he just insurance if Dam walks?

Had to skip through the cringe analagies about food per usual lol
💩
Forno talks too long man… 😢
Almost as bad as doogie lol
Its his job
He’s passionate
That’s the point of this segment
We come here for his opinion.
Idgaf about that MVP shit. Just keep winning. 1 game at a time.
