Yep! Another good one Steve, id say its a must tour now, coffee…pastries and the odd Burger King. Very cool scenery and smooth winding roads plus, of course on a GSA, the best selling adventure bike in the world. Thanks mate.

A thought as a fellow veggie I’ve found when in France on the bike a lot of restaurants etc will say they don’t have any veggie foods but when asked nicely with a smile most will gladly do a cheese omelette. It’s worked for me several times 😀

You should get yourself a pair of klim outlanders, waterproof, and can hike in them, supreme comfort. Those Deep sea diver boots must be hell, in all but moto cross competition.
I use a 2m cable lock through sleeves and trouser leg to secure and usually just leave boots under the bike, in 40 odd years of motorcycle touring nothing has ever been stolen!! Not quite a grand tour but interesting.

Hey Steve- love the videos! I worked for a Swiss company for a few years and came to Switzerland for training a few times. A beautiful country to visit! I drove a minibus while there- definitely would have preferred being on two wheels!
Another great video. Do your self a favour and get some decent goretex gear. I know it's expensive, but it will last you a decade pus and you will thank yourself every day you put on dry gear in the morning
Hi Simon, I think it was the last week of May/start of June… From what I’ve heard it’s a bit of a lottery with the passes, it all depends on their localised snowfall. I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time! 😁
So far I am very impressed. The ease of putting it up and taking it down mitigates the extra weight and bulk…I t’s sturdy and seems to be watertight when it’s raining… so far so good! 😊
I've been using Gortex laminated suits for many years for touring and blood Running and I just don't get wet and the suit is always dry the next morning

The Forma boots I have are surprisingly comfortable to walk around in for an hour or two but I will definitely check out the Klim boots you mention 😊
