This is great! I’m looking at an array of ideas for building my own at home salon and your 16x10 looks like there is a nice amount in internal room and space to maneuver. I’m considering renovating a small container. We’ll see if it sticks🤙
Shame! My wife saw this now I am on the hook! Seriously, thanks for the tour. The only question I had was whether or not there is a GFCI breaker or outlet for the areas near water. Probably have one already but I just didn't see it in the video. Watching it I was reminded of shows I have seen mostly on PBS like 'This Old House', 'Yankee Workshop' and others. Again thanks!
I would love to do this once I can hopefully buy a home. However my plumber brother said getting a water line out to the shed might be an issue. How do you have water connected to your tub?
How do you deal with dogs that have a really bad shed for example huskies When they are blown out the hair flys everywhere. Do you have a special way of doing it ?
Hi! My process was super easy because I live in the country in an unincorporated area. I just went down to the county told them what I wanted to do they told me all I needed was a business license and I was good to go. My insurance is through pet care insurance. They cover all my equipment and cover me if a dog were to get hurt while I was grooming them. My homeowners insurance covers my building.
Hi, this is cool! Looking into starting my own grooming service so currently looking at sheds and stuff like that. How did you get the water running in there? Or do you have a water tank?
Love it! 😍 In which state is your business? My brother is thinking to do this I am just wondering if a Shed would work in the north east part of the country.
No I don’t. I don’t even have muzzles in my salon. I find out way to safely get the dog done. Sometimes that means we have to break up the appointment into a couple different appointments but usually I’m able to do them.
You must never had a dog that's really aggressive. Muzzles are for everyone's safety. Nobody likes to use them but I'm not taken a chance of getting bit. I only turned one dog away and he was the worst-case
@@agapepetgrooming oh I didn't hear you say you used E-collars. Yeah I bought some the other day for a couple of dogs that are not nice. I'm going to try it next time

What scheduling system do you use? And did you have to get insurance for that building separatly?
Did you have to hire plumber and electrician to run it out?
Can you make a video of how you got licensed to groom at home and how you got insured? Your salon is so cute!

Very good video wondering the size of the groom room?
I have a question about draining the water out how does that work?
I love your setup. What size is your shed?
Thank you. My shed is a 10x16 tuff shed. It is a older model but it works great. I LOVE it!

I live in Northern California
@@agapepetgrooming Thank you! 🙏🏼
How did you set up the water system?
It’s ran through my garage to my shed. Hooked up to my water from the water heater from the house
You dont use muzzles ever? What if the dog is aggressive
