I remember that in the original Skylanders, if you speak to a character and then select no on whether you want to complete their level, you are unable to speak to that character again, can can no longer play the games levels on that save. 14 year old me was more than upset, because in Skylanders, when you complete a level, it almost always prompts you into a yes/no of entering a new level. you almost always select no because you want to spend your collected money on a powerup. 10 years later and im still pissed, because it's the penultimate level.
To be honest, finding and using glitches of any kind is one of the funnest things for me when playing games. Yes, I even like the Crash/softlock bugs to a point. I enjoy spending hours finding glitches in older games that save time in a speedrun and seeing other people use them. Great Video.

This is what I have been ceaselessly trying to tell my friend. Glitches aren't all that bad. In my opinion, these are what makes the game more fun and natural. As someone who enjoys the idea of chaos and brokenness in games, Cyberpunk 2077 is such a huge blast and is still my favorite game until now. Everything you just said in this video, it feels like you took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you very much and I hope you make more entertaining videos.

If the series if going to take out a major element that has been there sence the beginning there should be a reason for it being taken out! and the games should improved in other areas to compensate the lighten work load on the developers. SWSH did not do this!
This video is thoroughly entertaining and quite humorous for all the right reasons. I had no idea glitches were fun.
That’s the entire reason I made the video! I was watching Security Breach glitches and went “wow that actually looks fun” and realized “that may actually have made the game better?”

In "The sims - Deluxe" there is an unknown chance that a child will have an upside down witch's head as its portrait. That is cursed enough, but the normally static picture of the sim in a neutral mood would in this case actually convey emotions. The witch smiles when the child is happy, and frown when unhappy.
Absolutely cursed and yet fitting for this game that is The Sims 1.
Edit: For those wondering why a glitch would cause such complex behavior, the emotions being shown in the portrait was a removed beta-feature. Why or how it happens is still a unsolved.

There is a glitch in mario 3 where Mario gets a frog suit. I know that looks normal but there is no way god would intend for something like that to happen

16:52 I would also like to mention that each monty spawned in from the monty glitch also always homes in on your location once they spot you, will always find you if you try to hide, and even if you hide in glamrock freddy, the montys from this glitch will just follow glamrock freddy until you exit him
I learned about this glitch from some guy just trying to beat the game without running and it was literally so stupid crazy. That glitch is what made me want to do the video tbh
WAIT so you're telling me that putting down an invisible rock in a specific point of Kokiri Forest and then beating the game instantly ISN'T a cool little secret left by the devs?
I really liked the video. I personally love glitches as long as they dont break the game or just make the game unplayable
One thing I reccomend is changing the title to normal text so that the people who use TTS to browse youtube due to illiteracy or smth similar are able to get the title because TTS programs dont read that type of funky time text lol

I think that if you need to actively seek out a glitch to make it happen that is a good glitch, but if glitches happen at random while you're walking somewhere that could be a bad glitch depending on how it affects your experience, if you play a game for the story and your characters start rotating their necks that could be a problem for you, if you play a game for it's gameplay you may laugh at it snd leave it at that.
Duuuuude this video was sooo good!! i was very impressed with how smooth all of the topic segways were like damb, I was enthralled the whole way through!
SOLUTION: add a "glitch mode" thats just the game on release date so people can just play that if they want glitches and you can patch the glitches for the regular game

i miss funny glitches man. like just recently i learned about a glitch in star wars jedi fallen order, which by double jumping and blocking in the air with a double bladed lightsaber you can effectively turn yourself in a jedi based helicopter. i flew up so high i had a space ship crash into me. of course it didnt have collision but i just cut the video off right before it hit me for comedy. glitches like that make me so happy to see and play around with. or about half of the glitches in skyrim, because the other half make your life miserable. but you take the good with the bad with skyrim lol. i think we need to instate a mandatory vibe check in like a survey on whether or not a glitch is funny enough to stay in a game post launch, and if its funny it will stay.

See I think most developers should keep fun glitches like that! The players wouldnt necessarily use them if it would hurt their gameplay experience (most of the time)

One time my cousin was playing SpongeBob: The cosmic shake and during the squidward dimension he got soft locked during the “save some people” mini game and had to restart his entire save. He got past it eventually though.

Certainly a fun video to watch. One of my favorite glitches is in Final Fantasy I called the "Peninsula of Power" where you could fight ice monsters early in the game. Great for power leveling an entire party and grind out money for all the best equipment. There are quite a few speedrunning glitches that I personally love using in Resident Evil 4. The "Wrecking Ball" skip abuses Ashley's pathing and recognition of hostility. Grab something like an egg or grenade that you have not used. Aim it towards Ashley and while holding aim, you can easily enter the menu and discard the egg/grenade you have (WARNING: DO NOT USE WHAT YOU HAVE MULTIPLE OF. YOU WILL HAVE TO DISCARD ALL THEM). Keep holding aim and now you have a really weird camera. Now, if you hold the aiming button and jump down. Ashley will remain up there and thus the cutscene of enemies never triggers. Now, you can use the wrecking ball without hassle. After using it once, feel free to call Ashley towards you. The enemies will be in idle because of the cut scene never triggering. Well...until you approach them. Just break down the entire wall and you are home free to fight regenerators (which also have a glitch to kill easily).
Through and through, there will be forever glitches when it comes to software or hardware. Sometimes the software itself is pristine but has rather terrible reactions to certain hardware (or vice versa). But glitches will forever be apart of the gaming industry (for better or for worse) due to oversights and product management. No amount of QA testing can prevent glitches and some patches do leave new glitches. Mostly because of how all the code interacts with each other. More fascinatingly though, I heard the Bethesda semantic arguments of glitches being "features" being the best approach. Those silly developers, I will buy Skyrim for another time because of that. Oh Fallout 76? Uh...you can keep that. In fact, restraining order indefinitely.
