Sad to see that many of the actors have passed away but their memory lives on in these great films. One of my favorites was Tony LoBianco who also starred in The Seven Ups. Thank you for your great video.
Patrick McDermott, the actor who played the chemist in French Connection, has absolutely no relation to the missing Korean-American cameraman of the same name!
The guy on the right at 7:12 is Patrick Kim McDermott, of Korean lineage. He was Olivia Newton John's boyfriend and disappeared off the coast of California in 2005. He was born in 1956, so he was only 15 when The French Connection was made. The Patrick McDermott who made such a memorable performance in The French Connection was only in a few movies, and there is no info on what became of him.
The film is 53 years old. Master director late William Friedkin, he said in his interviews he was greatly inspired by the works of Citizen Kane. Gene Hackman looks fraile, gave great performance then, considering he told Friedkin he wanted to quit when shooting. The scene where he and Scheider are pushing Alan Weeks on that corrugated wall. Hackman said to Friedkin 'you have to replace me'
The spoken dialogue from your narrator does not match the people on the screen - you are talking about one person but showing somebody else. That's very distracting for the viewer.

3:15 that's not Bill Mulderig/Bill Hickman on the left, but the real case detective Eddie Egan as Captain Simonson
Arlene Farber is not dead. The photo in this video is not the same woman who played Angie Boca.

Wow , I'm shocked Gene hackman's changes , he's unrecognizable if he walks through in NYC on these days
He is 94 now , same age as Clint eastwood
