For those who don't know, the reason the episode is called "Slabtown" is because Slabtown was the name of a red-light district in Atlanta GA back in the 1840s, of course that sort thing is illegal is most of the United States now, and what was "Slabtown" back in the 1800s became the location of Grady Memorial Hospital in the 20th century.
Comic fact: in the comics Dale was still alive and he was the one who was being eaten by the cannibals but Bob did a good job recreating the lines in the comics.

Great reaction guys. One thing you guys may have missed a couple episodes ago was when Carol went to save Rick and the rest of the group at Terminus and Tyrese stayed with Judith. The guy that threatened to kill Judith was spared by Tyrese even though he lied to our group and said he had to kill him. Instead he left him alive to later attack Bob and try to kill everyone at the church. I just wasn't sure if you guys picked up on that or not.
Rick - "Hey Garrett, remember what you said? Cant go back Bob? Yeah, well, can't go back Garrett. Too bad you don't have a Carol to save y'all outta nowhere. And besides, I already made you a promise".

Also I’m with you Hunter I really hated Glenn’s decision to go with Abraham and company he don’t even know these people and he and Maggie went off with them. Bye bye Terminates. I always love when Rick said besides I already made you a promise and went ham on that fool. I don’t really care for the Beth Grady Hospital episodes, those people are stupid, talking bout the world is gonna go back to like before, and they’re not even living like before. Her men was raping the women, and she wanted to enslave people that is not like before. Anyway E5/6 is coming, see you guys next week, God’s willing

Remember what I said back in Season 2 Dale was originally suppose to survive until this episode he was originally going to die here but sadly we all know what happened behind the scenes that led Dale to die early on in the show Bob took his place which I thought was very well done Bob was a cool guy and good member to the group I sure wish Dale survived until this episode because personally I thought it woulda been better if Dale got his comic death on the show to this day I still love and miss Dale.
One of the mistakes in this episode is when dawn hits Beth with the picture frame she hit her on the left side of her face but bruises show up on the right side of her face

I'm someone who doesn't like the "Slabtown"episode. I've skipped it every time I've re-watched the series.

Comic Comparisons: As I said before in the comics it’s Dale whose leg gets chomped by the cannibals It’s worse for Dale because his other leg had already been lost (where Hershel gets his leg amputated after being bitten in the show happens to Dale in the comics) So now he’s missing both his legs The rest happens the same Dale reveals he was bitten and screams tainted meat just like Bob.
However the scene where the group takes their revenge goes differently in the comics They don’t lure them to the church and ambush them there (they do stay in Father Gabriel’s church) But the killing doesn’t happen there However Rick does say the line they’re fucking with the wrong people instead the group actually tracks them down in the woods and meets them It’s there when they kill them in the same fashion as the show brutally and as bloody as possible.
Question for Hunter..have you seen all of The Walking Dead? Or did you stop watching at some point? 😊
