hmmmmm cool, imma have to use this as some inspiration since i still don't know how to build something that isn't terrible ☠️ i do got a 6 motor 257rpm chassis tho (with some stacked motors), glad to see that's not a dumb drivetrain idea
The code is just set up to spin the cata if it is less that a value. Then the motor stops and due to slop the robot drops beneath the threshold. So the motor re engages and then the cycle repeats.
@@9MotorGang my school doesn’t really possess 600 rpm cartridges, nor even any form of pneumatics. would a 4 motor drive with a speed ratio of 60:36 be best for our drive train?
Would love a build tutorial!
Unfortunately, the robot has since been disassembled. If you have any questions, let me know.
Ong that thing is built different 👌

Can you provide link for the omni wheels, explain further what type of wheels are they either bush type or bearing.
They’re just the standard 4.125 inch Omni wheels on vex’s website.
Those standoffs are looser than the ones that hold up middle schoolers license plates
Rubber linked, not loose.
💀
Why do you have three red gears if you only have one shaved gear. What do they other two gears do?
The 48t gears act as a glorified lock bar. They ensure the cata arms spin with the shaft.
Peak of build quality
How many teeth did u cut off the 12 tooth
It dose not say in the video
3 teeth IIRC
would it be legal to have something grabbing on to the corner barrier to ensure a shield against defending bots?
no, that would be in violation of rule G7
Whats the plan for when the code get turned off at the end of the game, is there a locking mech for the hang
There is a ratchet on the bot. At 4:05 you can see the program is off and the robot is still hanging.
can u share highhang and catapult make explain video??? pls do this i need u )
I'm not sure what you mean. The robot doesn't have a high hang, and the catapult is explained in the video.
why do the cata thingys wiggle wiggle
The code is just set up to spin the cata if it is less that a value. Then the motor stops and due to slop the robot drops beneath the threshold. So the motor re engages and then the cycle repeats.
@@9MotorGangok, also why do the standoffs shake like that though
@@jonnyedit The standoffs are mounted on rubber links so that it can drive under the barrier
also what is the gear ratio and how much is shaved off
This information is in the video.
hi evan
Bonjour.
Do you use 200 rpm cartridges for your drivetrain?
No. 600rpm.

may i know how many tooths did you shave off
I don't remember. You should be able to count it as there are so close ups in the video.
omg its centrifuge!!!
Not really.
