  • EFCC Withdraws appeal against order restraining Yahaya Bello’s arrest.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed a notice of withdrawal to discontinue an appeal against an order of a Kogi High Court restraining it from arresting the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
In the notice filed on April 22, the EFCC said the withdrawal is predicated on the fact that events have overtaken the appeal.
The commission also admits that the appeal was filed out of the time allowed by law.

Yes this man has spoken The governor of kogi state is protecting a crime even if it is not yet proven guilt.

The present Kogi state governor has acted as one not to be trusted by his people, rather he is fighting for his pocket. He has layer very bad precedence for up comeing politicians, he is also making it difficult for the approval of state policing for protecting a suspect so the governor is serving the people not not his premises or Yaya Bello. Is Yaya Bello telling Kogi people that he gave them a Rubber stamp. Governor. Authority stealing, governor magic. Yaya Bello is a big disgrace for his action even if no yet proven guilty.

Your guest saying he would go to a suspect's village is a clear sign that he knows nothing about how law enforcement works and his comparisons with the US are like apples and oranges. The premise of his arguments makes one question his criticisms, he hasn't been able to make it say anything remarkable, no offense intended.

How does spraying money devalue the economy, intelligent Nigerians aren't fooled,OGA CHAIRMAN.
You are just causing distractions to give an impression to Nigerians that you are working ,
I have never heard or witnessed any host in any occasion that was sprayed money and the money ended up in trash or used as toilet paper, rather they pick up the money and spend it BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT THE MONEY LOOTED BY POLITICAL THIEVES are the ones that directly affects the economy, most of them invest those stolen money abroad, whereby killing our economy and growing foreign economy.
Yes,abuse of the currency is wrong, but in this situation ,OPPORTUNITY COST ought to apply here,Economic and financial crime commission,go after the people directly financially killing the economy.instead of terrorising or bullying our young men and women ,nah there your power reach???haba😡😡
TOWARDS THIS BELLO ISSUE, EFCC SHOULD
GATHER ENOUGH EVIDENCE, AND FOLLOW DUE PROCESS, then the efcc would have an added moral advantage in winning this criminal cases, Make every aspect of the case including the judge presiding over the case public knowledge..As opposed to the efcc chairman claiming is job is just to arrest suspects, is very wrong, the job of the efcc is to arraigne, if found guilty, then pursue a successful conviction and justice

How could one governor stole money mean to take care of a whole state and you are debating on what to do? Hen it is efcc hen it is police, who course our dear country for God sake.

Nigerian judiciary is a disgrace. Mazi Nnamdi kanu is absolutely correct calling Nigeria a Zoological Republic .
Animal Kingdom and the various states, Animal farms.
A country where criminals are on the helm of affairs, anything criminal shouldn't be a surprise.
If Yaya Bello was a former governor
from the South East, the story could have been different.
