tbh im suprised this hasnt been done earlier. id say its easier to do crossplay from java to roblox rather than java to bedrock. all you need is a minecraft server plugin, some roblox server scripts and somewhere to store the data.

past week roblox announced open cloud services which means that you can use your own servers to host data for your game, this is actually nuts considering they are most paying for these servers to work, but seeing this on action is just really sick, imagine making a survival world with your friends from roblox in minecraft edit: probably the delays or less blocks on roblox is just a limit for these open cloud services, really nice to see it working tho!

As you said, roblox doesn't care for anything else aside of money, but specially *their* money. do you remember what they did when the oof was discovered to be not original from roblox? yup, instead of buying something that was like part of their identity they just said "nah im good thanks" and didn't put a penny for getting it. What about the audio update? 2 years ago roblox decided to nuke the audio section due to copyright and 99% of the music and anything that lasted +6 secs got private'd, this all because roblox got sued. Lastly, 3 years ago a dev from a game announced the game was taken down because someone placed an steve decal and it was counted by roblox as copyright (the game was about building stuff). Monjang wouldn't probably mind about suing roblox over this but maybe they simply don't care and take the game down anyways.

It was almost finished but I realized I wouldn't be able to keep it up as the proxy used inbetween would most likely get overloaded and cost a bit for that matter. Anyways, I made mine back in 2021. Minecraft server sends packets of player info (name, position, blocks) 4. Roblox translates that package so it can be used inside Roblox 5. Roblox does the same thing, they send packets of player info. 6. Minecraft translates that package so it can be used inside Minecraft.
Seems like it wouldn't be that hard a feat to accomplish all you have to do is create and external server make the roblox server connect to it and send your movement and do the same for minecraft then connect them
Technically i donttt really know much but like you create your own game you create a minecraft server you do some code that makes it connect just like making your discord bot say what happens in the server not really that complicated TO SAY.... read
