Really enjoyed how calm and simple this video is. Film editing allows for a very creative storytelling experience, and it's an art of its own to be sure that you do very well! But just seeing you throwing in real time, no whistles and bells is refreshing :)
Well I like hydro bats “plaster” for plates and platters. Cover for 3-4days with towel and they just lift right off. Trim foot back on the bats upside down for few more days. Then I put them in a wire shelves drape thin plastic drop cloth over the shelving unit. Like a damp box. Dry evenly. Sorry so long....

What's the trick to cutting it off the bat without cutting through the platter? I have a real hard time with that.

I often have problems with glaze running down and sticking to the shelf. Could it be my wax?

How do you take it off of the bat without warping such a large base
I cut it off, but leave it on until it is leather hard , then remove it from the bat so it keeps its shape!
