Looks just like Southern California, but cleaner, less crowded and better run. Same flora and fauna, same beautiful sunshine, and, of course, same earthquakes.
yep Chile looks a lot like California, I've been there twice and honestly it feels like a huge deja-vu all the time ahhaha. I wouldn't say Santiago (or Chile in general) is way cleaner than CA though, it's kinda similar (it did surprise me how dirty the cities there are!). The road infraestructure it's better in the US, I think because it's way too car-centered, which is nice if you drive but here we have more options.
I used to live in Santiago Chile in a beautiful home with view o mountains , I moved to Canada . Me and my siblings both want to get to university in Canada but my parents are for sure moving back , we are visiting Chile this Christmas this year and I am really exciting to be reuniting with some family member
You are not mistaken, the south of Chile is just like new zealand. I lived there so I got surprised how similar nz was from the south of Chile. However, we have a wider range of sightseeings and weather to explore, from desert to pure ice. I did like the weather in nz, it is more stable the whole year in the north island, like an eternal spring. I really loved that. In Chile the weather is sharper, seasons can be felt and defined very clear. From Chile, Chiloe island is my favourite place.
Great vlog, i am a chilean that started watching your videos when you were in Lebanon, it was a big surprise for me that you actually came down here; to the end of the world... Greetings from Santiago and enjoy

great video Nick! really stoked you’re in Chile! A fascinating country to say the least. Are you going to head up north to the Atacama dessert? This one was especially interesting for me as I have visited Chile but did not make it to Santiago ✌️😉
It looks like a very beautiful country, and the people there they sound nice ones. I've heard about the Atacama desert & i would like to go there and check it out someday. Nice video
You do a great travel series. Just, as far as Puerto Montt is concerned, there are no fjords there. The concept and the physical looks of a fjord - the Norwegians know all about it. Keep on doing what you are doing. With limited Spanish ability, you are doing quite well.
It is a shithole, he should have stopped in Puerto Varas, Chiloe (right in front of Pto Montt), Coihaique, Osorno and Punta Arenas. But Puerto Montt is just grey and rainy 360 days a year. Depressing.
Foreigners always miss out on so many things!! While Patagonia is certainly stunning and the most popular destination, there are hundreds of places worth seeing along the way!! From active volcano craters, to 6000+m mountains, deserts, lakes, crystal clear rivers, arguably the best wine in the world. Next time make sure to ask places to visit along the way on reddit! For example, next to Los Angeles, there's this national park with glaciers, araucarias (huge ass trees) and some of the cleanest skies with an active volcano and lava fields from the last eruption a few years ago called Conguillio National Park. Next to Santiago there's so much to do as well! Not in every city you are 2hrs from snow and 6000m peaks among the andes and from the sea at the same time.
¿HOSTOS? … PERDONA EL LUCIMIENTO …
Nice! Also really sick editing! I suppose viewers who are interested in traveling would like to see more interaction with the people and more activities. The scenery was great tho !

great video Nick! really stoked you’re in Chile! A fascinating country to say the least. Are you going to head up north to the Atacama dessert? This one was especially interesting for me as I have visited Chile but did not make it to Santiago ✌️😉
Great to be hear, we won't make it North on this trip sadly. Next time, heard good things
I just came back from Peru! And I wanted to go to Bolivia and Chile so bad! I knew they would be gorgeous!
Chile🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
This South American trip though! So dope, loving it so far my man 👌
Cheers brother!❤️❤️
I loved your videos, especially those from eastern europe and I never thought you will be in Chile 😱
Thank you! Eastern Europe is fun to travel 😍
Bellavista is a crazy and busy area. I stayed in Barrio Brasil and it was nice, quite and close to one of the main roads in Santiago called ALAMEDA
You're content is getting more fun each upload and I'm loving it!
Thank you Nafisa!!!
@@IndigoTraveller You're welcome, Nick!
Safe travels..@ least the roads look half decent..looking forward to the next instalment!
Roads are great!
Like the little apartment, Chile seems a great place to explore 👍
Definitely a great spot to explore 😍
Watching a travel vlog in every country and your Chile 🇨🇱
Wow😍 amazing video! I am in Chile right know and it's just stunning here!!
It looks like a very beautiful country, and the people there they sound nice ones.
I've heard about the Atacama desert & i would like to go there and check it out someday. Nice video
Visit the valley of the moon and Valle del Elqui. San Pedro also. All close (not that close really), but in the north of Chile.
2:30 That definitely is not the last time a child Bengals fan in a Carson Palmer jersey will be disappointed ;)
Hahaha
Chile is the most beautiful country I love it I love its people, food and music.
Cool vid 😎👌👌 and loved your narration. Absolute beauty chile is 🔥
You do a great travel series. Just, as far as Puerto Montt is concerned, there are no fjords there. The concept and the physical looks of a fjord - the Norwegians know all about it. Keep on doing what you are doing. With limited Spanish ability, you are doing quite well.
Hope you get to visit the argentinian patagonia too, there are some beautiful places here like El Chalten, and El Calafate.
Would love to sounds epic!
Wow, Puerto Mont is beautiful!
After the last protests, Santiago is somewhat deteriorated. But it's still pretty, I love la vega!
Great. Welcome to Chile.
Greetings from a Chilean living in Dhaka
Wow! Enjoying Dhaka? A bit different from here, both countries have great people 🇨🇱❤️

Que Hermosa es Santiago de Chile
Just got back from Santiago on my way to Easter Island. IF you get a chance do go to Easter Island with that drone. You will get amazing footage.
Wow, Easter island would epic, far though, how much did it cost you?
Coolness and Light @@IndigoTraveller. It's not cheap for a round trip ticket from Santiago and one week at a very nice Eco-lodge I payed 1700.00 US. My mistake was not getting a onward flight to Tahiti, which flies out of Hanga Roa I think twice a week. That way No backtracking. Good luck on your travels.
Whaaat! Nice to have you here!! I hope you felt welcomed
Definitely welcomed well, thanks my friend ❤️
