@@PhoenixDeliveries I know you have a 5-6% acceptance rate. I did have a question for you as far as your hotspot that you sit at. I feel like when I try to cherry pick the volume of my city is just so low in comparison with bigger cities. I find myself accepting less than favorable deliveries (at least break even sometimes). I was curious as to what type of volume you experience during peak hours? And do you find accepting an “ok” delivery is better than just waiting when volume is slow?
So weird Uber eats for me is garbage.. Always 3-4 miles per dollar for an order... not sure its because I have a 2% acceptance rate? Not rare to see 4 dollars for 18 miles.
You must have a really good market to have that low of an AR on both apps and still have a good flow of offers coming in. In my home zone the flow of offers really slows down with a low AR. If I do a 30 minute drive to one particular zone AR doesn't seem to matter nearly as much, the apps, especially Doordash, are much more active.
Appreciate your ongoing curiosity but staying true to your gigging discerning experiences. I have been doing Uber Eats and DoorDash for about six weeks now. Multiple gigging between the two has been the way for me. Last night tho, my worst double stack ever! Uber Eats. Two orders. Same fast food Chinese restaurant. I arrive. One order they had ready. Second order they kept on telling me "a couple more minutes." Again and again and again. 25 minutes later, no typo, 25 minutes later, I got the second order.
Ahhhh (5:10) the zone I normally do for DD the Chipolte NEVER EVER has orders ready and a ton of food delivery peeps in there are always complaining to the staff. I sat in there yesterday for 20 min and half the drivers still there waiting and myself so that was the very first time I have dropped an order and left. I took that particular Chipolte off my list of restaurants and will try again if it’s a slow day. My own town that is still in my zone is still building up as it’s new, and we just got a Chipolte so hoping when I Dash and UberEats in my town this one is better. Can’t wait till my own town is all built up more so I don’t always have to go to another town in my zone. Glad some have good Chipolte’s like you do lol! Have your people call my people j/k lol! Love your ideas, and videos, they have helped me being a new delivery driver as of this last Feb and I ❤️❤️❤️ it a lot. 😀!!
Great video and I know exactly what you're going through I know doradas has been pretty harsh on those that has less than idea except this rate in a diamond zone. Although you may not be able to make top dasher at the end of the month at least the higher your acceptance rate is you'll be able to work with it more with Uber eats
I logged onto Uber eats and it’s very slow in my market. I haven’t done it in quite some time so maybe I might venture myself to do it tomorrow. I’m not sure though I actually made pretty good money on DoorDash today. Almost 160 for 8 1/2 hours not too bad I’ll take that sitting in my car and delivering food not bad at all
I run UE and DD at the same time also. If I accept a DD offer and get a better offer from UE before I actually pickup the DD food, I unassign the DD order and do the UE order and vice versa.
I made it all the way up to 20% yesterday (Friday), then lunch hit and got a solid stream of $6 - 10 mile + offers so right back down to 8%. (DoorDash). I have no idea how you can raise your AR and make any money. Some of the offers are 15 plus miles and would take close to 1 hour to complete. Not working for $15 an hour. Guess I’m in the same boat as you. I keep Uber on and strive for $15 plus orders. Been getting 2-3 a day so that helps.
I have 29 % on DD and 10% on UE. The quality of orders fluctuates whether I work in Rio Rancho, South Valley ABQ, or Santa Fe. It worked like that in Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert/QC, and lower Scottsdale as well.

Took an Uber stack yesterday-25.63 was about 14.5 miles. It was in the rural area so it was road miles and it went pretty smooth. Took 35 min. Most really don't want t go to the rural areas, but they pay pretty well so I go. Lately my acceptance rate is dropping because of the ridiculous low offers. Seeing more and more of these lately. Local military base orders are usually pretty good, but I don't deliver since the distance, hassle at the gate and LOOOOW Speed limits don't make it feasible! It's about the bottom line- Max profit, economical use of time.
@@larryt510 I made $25.63 in 35 minutes. Gas for the trip cost me 3.60. That leaves $22.06 in just over 1/2 hour. I can live with the ride back to the zones for that!

UE is so much better. Last night I did notice DD giving me full amounts for orders. Didn’t get a single hidden tip and it was showing me full amounts. Did a $18 double for 3.5 miles on DD. Not bad. But UE is showing me $30 orders for less than 10 miles. I’m loving UE not hiding tips. I made $128 in 3.5 hours last night between both apps. Only drove 55 miles total.
