the thing with the moon halo thing is captains were not informed anything about being in the concert. we were only informed to submit our videos doing moon halo covers as part of some event. to see our covers being put into the livestream was truly special!

The Moon Halo song was sang by the captains around the world, they received a invite by mihoyo to apear in the concert.
And this concert was made after the end of Elysian Realm arc, right after we lost Elie, this was heartbreaking for us.
I'm scared of the next concert, it will have the last Kiana's arc song "Da Capo" and I don't know if my heart can handle the hit, this one hit soo hard that just to rewatch made me cry.
At least Kiana haven't died... yet

To explain the Moon Halo Song. As it is basically the hymn of the Honkai Impact Fanbase, they made it that it is sung by the dev team as well as fans around the world. To show just how close we as a fan base have become because of this Game.

The last song was the community and the devs singing together, there was a contest where they asked people to sing and send the sing, also they took bits and pieces from famous cover artists on yt, it was truly beautiful, especially with ely dancing😢 ( it was a surprise, we didn’t know they would do this)
It was so damn wholesome to see that it almost brought me to tears 😭
Hanser, Bronya's VA, had a leg injured, that's why she was sitting. She also thought it was a repetition instead of the actual concert so she didn't bother to arrange her hair. She talked about this on a live stream.

It's also hard to sing while dancing around. She also joked how she's tired of this song by now because everyone wants her to sing it (she is obviously joking from the tone) ^^ But that's for the new concert so we'll see what she does in that one.
This concert was an absolute blast to experience. And it showcases just how proud and passionate Hoyoverse and the community are for Honkai Impact 3rd. It's why it's the beloved child of Hoyo, by leaps and bounds
For me I don't blame that Hoyo is biased towards Honkai as they have been making Honkai characters before Genshin was even thought of. They are more attached to Honkai as a game than Genshin.

The Honkai concerts are some of the best things I've ever seen. I can't believe every song sounds so good, especially as live versions. It's just insane.

The singer singing Cyberangel is indeed Bronya's CN voice actor, Hanser. She sings Cyberangel and is one of the 3 singers for Moon Halo in the last concert. The reason why they only show her shadow silhouette in the last concert was because she's a vtuber, I guess this time she's more comfortable showing most of her face.
It's not that she's more comfortable, but figured out ways to get around the "vtubers contractually can't show face" loophole, that's why she was wearing the blindfold and drape on her face, so technically she's not showing her face. In current times she often appears wearing Silverwolf-style goggles which also do the trick.

Provided the CN playerbase didn't riot, maybe they could get Bronya's JP VA to sing it. Or even Silver Wolf's EN VA (I don't think Bronya Rand's VA would fit that well, unless she could go appropriately younger. If that happened, maybe it could open the door to adding an EN dub to _HI3_ . Provided, again, the CN fans don't object. They've gotten things cancelled before.

On the other hand, for someone familiar with the "real" world, the reference would instantly resonate and evoke a deeper understanding.

The first piece is not the same as what Kafka was "air playing" in Star Rail. Kafka was playing "Canon in D" by Johann Pachelbel, arranged by Jean-François Paillard (a bit faster and "fluffier" than original). It was also used in OST for the HI3 Chapter 1 graduation video.

We technically have a kafka in Honkai impact but she just a Stigmata. Eden is not a variant of Kafka.
TruE is sung by Isabelle Huang Ling. The song was in the animated short "Because of you" which was about Elysia. (Remember how excited you got when you saw Aponia's underboob for the first time?)
For the ending Moon halo, they held an event which they ask the fans to submit the clips of them singing Moon halo. The first prize is a figurine of Mei Herrscher's of Thunder. (Someone correct me about this) Although most of them are fans, they commissioned some singers and V tubers for that compilation, together with the devs and their workers.
You might experience spoilers for the third concert because of how far ahead the main story currently is. (The Seele Arc, after the moon arc)

Yooooo this was honestly a huge upgrade from the last concert and to top it of they are holding another concert on the 29th I believe. Really hyped for that.
Also cool thing about the last song Moon halo is that it was sung by fans and some devs as well. This was peak community appreciation moment for me.
Regarding the Moon Halo at the end, there was a contest in the community events that invited all players who wish to participate in a Moon Halo Cover for prizes. People got their first, second and third places and so on.
What they didn't expect was everyone who submitted a cover, regardless of what placement they had, were all placed into this Moon Halo mashup at the end, as a surprise. The Honkai Team and the players are VERY close. The devs, players and voice actors tend to mingle quite a bit in their own separate content streams for fun, etc. It's awesome stuff! You won't find stuff like this anywhere else!

This song is so beautiful especially after playing Elysian realm and learning the stories of the 13 flame chasers of the previous era, who paved the way for the current era to defeat the Honkai. It’s sad and hopeful telling the current era not to be sad but to live on and fight for all that is beautiful in the world. 28:30 no this when Kiana saves the city by pushing the bomb into space.

P.S : The Song when Kiana saving Fuhua was titled "Rubia", it was in the animated short titled 'Shattered Samsara'. The 'Rubia" appeared in this concert on 40:23
This concert is one i tend to relisten at least once a week, or at least some songs from it, like Oracle or Regression wich hits hard, i especially love some of the different ways they did some of the song like Nightglow compared to the first concert, make it hit u just a little different.
Its a shame i can't watch u start Honkai 3rd live since thats the middle of the night for me, but i will defintely watch the vod!

the song at the beginning of star rail is indeed in hi3 but it's not in this concert. The song is called " Da capo " ( From the beginning ) and it's beautiful as it's the song of the last cutscene of honkai part 1 , kiana journey ends and star rail journey begins
No actually. The song that plays in the opening of hsr and in the animted short is canon in D, from Beethoven. Its a classical piece, de capo is only at the end of the animated short not during the scene youre thinking of. The point still stands tho, an end and a beginning in for different games.

Hoyoverse at least with Honkai have tons of fan irl events. Some of them are submitting videos of yourself or artwork. They had asked for submissions fans singing Moon Halo and they chose a winner iirc with internal judging. The top 3 were at the beginning of the last section if I'm not mistaken.
But yeah the other submissions didn't go to waste.

Honkai concerts are so good because they are mix of instrumentals and lyrics songs. And they also tell a story.
The AR in this concert is what Disney likes to call "volume" and tries to sell as so expensive. but it's not, it's just reliance on "the CG guys will do it" that makes it expensive.
15:30 apparently they weren't Infront of a green screen. They were Infront of a whole as massive screen. I watched a video where somebody explain what was going on which i couldn't understand at all.

The fact you mixed up _TruE_ with _Rubia_ speaks volumes for Zhou Shen's vocal talent, as well as for Yellow Zero's. But more for the former, as he's a polyglot legend with absolute vocal range. You should hear him sing _Let It Go_ in multiple languages. Apparently he even gets dialects accurately. Anyway, _Because of You_ is the short with Elysia and the Flame-Chasers.
The 1st song where you said Kafka did it, in all honesty it was a much more important song.

Oh btw, the OST of the credit scene at the end is from Winter Memories video, this video is just mihoyo flexing their 2d animation to celebrate the Winter Olympic that was participated in China lol, it has no spoiler so I would love to see your reaction about it
The worst part for me was when I found out what the invite was for when Moon Halo was being sung on the very day of the concert. I too have received the invite (all captains were supposed to submit a cover of the song, vocal or instrumental) and wanted to do a cover as well, but timing came into conflict with my work schedule. So I couldn't and missed out.
This was the 2nd time this happened to me. The 1st was KH3 as one of the past keyblade masters from the mobile game, Union Cross. I had uninstalled Union Cross a _day_ prior to the event announcement, and when I found out about it, it was over.
I am actually in the KH3 section that shows the union cross usernames, it’s so cool to see companies do stuff like this

The song Kafka does at the beginning is similar or is da capo I believe? Btw Yusuf the singer of Regression, is the one that sang Samudrartha from Star rail 1.2 when Inbibitor Lunae is doing his Moses thingy. At the end with all the singers are the people who do music covers on TH-cam and those people all covered Moon halo plus Mihoyo staff also joined in. One thing I’m sad about that part is they didn’t seem to have shown Amalee’s version cuz she’s covered moon halo and some other honkai songs.

Also getting the songs mixed up with different animations will only be acceptable until you get there in the game LOL (i usually just let you cook since you usually find out on your own) The game will imprint the image / sound in your soul, it will get to the point where you hear 2 notes and you're scared or crying already
Besides Moon Halo, all the animation songs in this concert appear in lore chronological order; Previous Era, Current Era, APHO
Fun Fact, Hanser, the CN Bronya VA, has mentioned how she is tired of singing Cyberangel lmao
Also my favorite in this concert is The Journey of Stars solely because of Inherit, which is one of my favorite Honkai songs in general. (top favorite honkai song is The Day You Vanished with the Stars)
I can’t wait to experience them in the game, it’s one thing watching trailers but playing the game and tying the songs to certain moments is what really helps me remember
