Since I don't collect graded this is easy for me. It will just be a bunch of inexpensive ohtani, curry and messi cards. Nothing rare though since rare big name cards are definitely out of budget.
If you don’t buy graded you could build a MASSIVE collection of amazing cards for $1000. Even a good mixture you could have quite an impressive collection. The problem is most people chase hype and spend that much on a single KABOOM or Downtown card that won’t be worth 1/5 of what they paid years from now 😂
@@TRIKESportsCards Nah, it's just 40 years of well-traveled junk wax plus modern base and lower value slabs that have only decreased in value over the past few years. Anything that ain't a sparkly gem seems to be worth pennies on the dollar now. Lessons learned!

You can build a collection for $100. It's about quality not quantity. You can never go wrong with collecting what / who you love.

I like to sell the small stuff to try to get into bigger cards but that can be risky so staying into small cards for some people is a smart move!
